Restoration of an old english "SIF" hand drill. I buyed online from England some months ago for a few bucks (euros...). It is in fair condition for its age and I find it so beautiful like all the tools of those years... Hope you enjoy the restoration, tell me what you think. Thank you for your support

Making a wooden pen and usb memory holder
Very nicely made and looks awesome! The only thing I would change was making the jaws out of a hardwood instead of what looks like pine.
Muy bien
Hello. Factories for sale? I need one like this please. thank you
Simply fantastic work!
Thankyou very much
What did you paint on the shovel?
It's a lovely piece of kit, isn't it? I've picked up some great ideas for when i make my own. I'm sure i could build one exactly the same if i had a workshop full of machines at my disposal. Unfortunately, i haven't. 😔
The simplest pony costs $25 now not to including shipping. So, you did fine. Especially if you have some half decent scrap wood and unused parts around.
Nice piece. Im very jealous. Id use it for the rest of my life.
Aceasta este artă! Felicitări!
No brew? 🙄
Beautiful piece! The magnets were a Brilliant touch!
Fantastico
Wel, after seeing that, I’m off to my WoodShop!
I have one of these, makes me want to dig it out 👍
Turned out nice, but you really overcomplicated it.
This is a best design I have ever seen 👍🏼👍🏼
A beautiful job - when you have all those nice machines to do it with...
Very Nice
Beautiful! Think it works the same as a Bialetti Moka pot. Wikipedia has a slow motion video of what happens inside when the pot is heated.
WoW Your gonna loose a finger the way you move around that table saw blade
I've a similar stove & like you tried alcohol to not much success but told it was a white gas (petrol) stove, so tried white gas and works much better
Excelente trabajo de una terminación muy sutil. Felicitaciones
wow beautiful
Just WOW! I want one!!!💖
Great job!
Nice solution to a vexing problem. Elegant, to boot. Ever thought about steaming wood to bend it and building a traditional stitching clam ?
Nice finished piece & you're talent is amazing; but there are too many electric tools (most people won't have) & too many little parts.
Modify to 4 thicker coils and new cotton wicks ... It will be a beast. ..😁
Nicely done!
Thankyou
That’s a beautiful and proper stitching pony! A lot of work… but the results are outstanding.
Thankyou very much for your appreciation!
sorry i don't watch videos without talking.
No problem, thanks for your onterest anyway!
way too overthought and overly complex of a build. Nice try but I think it's shit.
I understand what you mean, sure is way too much complex, but hey, I do for myself and I had a very good time making it!
THAT is a thing of beauty!!
Thankyou very much! I'm glad that you liked it
Nice, I need to build one and you have given me great ideas. I won't be putting in the magnets. I find that when tools stick to everything on the bench it becomes very annoying. (i.e. stuck to a hammer that I have moved three times while looking for it. )
i know what you are talking about.... Magnet are not fundamental, is just something more... Happy my video give you some inspiration 🙂
Simply amazing
Thankyou very much
класс!

Really nice work! I´m impressed
Thank you, glad that you liked it
Very nice and detailed job! I just want to start to make one. Can you please share the rough dimensions of the parts, eg. width and length of the clamps/arms? Thanks! Cheers!
Wonderful piece of work.
Thankyou
I've got one almost identical to restore it was my grandads this one has a crow's foot next to the date this means it was a military issue drill in the 2nd world war thanks for sharing 👍
Wow military drill, surely a beautiful one!
@rustywood5614 it's the same as the one in your video but it's got a crows foot marking next to the sif marking
Why use soft wood?
It's what I had at home and it was an experiment... Finding serious wood isn't very simple here and soft wood is still more than enough!
