bringing sampling to eurorack with opus3
here's a little improv using a sample from opus3, you knowbthe one. it's playing from the sample drum module and going through the ripples filter. the sample is sliced in the sample drum. I like the texture the samples give, slightly lilting the beat, or creating a pad. the driving base is the soundforce dco again, just can't stop using it.

soudforce and doepfer a111-6, is it acid or techno?

integrating Roland TR-6S into eurorack modular

mutable instruments Plaits orange mode Arpeggiator

The sound is output at audio level to a mixer. it would need to be amplified to be at eurorack level.

    • @mortonkopf8265

have a look at some of the circuits posted on the Teensy Forum, you can programme teensy the same as an arduino, using the same IDE. For just triggers, it would be very straight forward for something basic, the Teensy will output 3v High, which isn't always acceptable for some modules. some arduinos use 5v logic, so might be better for just triggers, but I have not had any problems with 3v high triggers on my eurorack. A teensy, some jacks, a couple of resistors and diodes for protection, and you are there.

Any way to have this output CV? to interface with modular synth?

funny you should say that, I have converted the euclidean sequencer to eurorack. its the white unit in the top left on this video: th-cam.com/video/gJTBsC1AAsI/w-d-xo.html It has four channel output, with both trigger and inverted trigger (the off steps are triggered through the second output per channel) I will try and get a write up done. As its only for my use, I used 3v trigger and gate signals, not 5v.

? Does the NTS 1 need the ribbon controller? and if not could that area be removed and the back-plate be mounted in its place? I'm wanting to use the NTS 1 as primarily an FX unit.

hi there. that is what i was oping to do with also, similar to removing the ribbon t=controller on the monotone and replacing with a bunch of 3.5mm inputs. Unfortunately, the nts1 has a trace running below the ribbon controller and the connector plus resistors and caps for the ribbon (grouped at one end, but still underneath). it might be possible with careful drilling to squeeze in 3.5mm sockets next to the trace, but i wasn't willing to risk it.
