I was lactose intolerant until I was about 10 and at every birthday party I went to they’d always say “we have ice cream which is gluten free”. Very helpful
21 years coeliac here.....still always seem to end up being given the meat free version of a full english.!
Might have been more accurate to have ended it with a loud fart.
@@presterjohn71 😂😂😂 missed an opportunity there
“Not to sound dramatic, but I don’t think I can afford this body!” 🤣 sooo accurate 😰😭
@@owensgarden 😂😂
I found out that gluten hates my guts about 8 years ago and the same old questions always come up 😑
As a vegan, ive been told a few times, 'we dont have a vegan option but we have gluten free, its a ham sandwich'.
I got offered a vegetarian option as a substitute for lactose free and I remember just being sat there baffled like ah yes because they are absolutely the same thing!
Do you eat “may contain” foods? I have coeliac too and I’m veryyyyy unsure so I’ll eat it sometimes
@@mermaidx9386 I don’t personally. I don’t think it’s worth the risk
@@mermaidx9386 I don’t personally, I don’t think it’s worth the risk
Excellent advertising. I'm sold. Buying myself one.
@@Gertrude_Why ❤️ hope you love it
Agreed! Chefs kiss 💋
The underwear thing is so freaking real
@@Milo_The_Best_Dog always have to be prepared 😂
Yes! I was an extrovert as a teen, but with age, I'm 42, I'm exactly the opposite. I'd rather be at home with a good book or with very close friends and family. I keep my circle quite small. The world needs all types. :)
@@bshows14 I have never been an extrovert. I was so shy when I was younger. I’m not shy anymore at 32 but I’d still rather be at home reading a book or being with my dog and family instead of out partying haha. I have a very small group of close friends that I love spending time with but apart from that, I’m very happy doing my own thing 😁
@glutenhatesmyguts I can totally relate!
allergies arent real. just grow up
@@jordonhodges8493 don’t think I’m the one that needs to grow up
Interesting way to volunteer to pay for the hospital bills that come with being glutened if your celiac AND have an allergy to gluten
Oh I feel you! 🙈😅🫣 Especially „…and it didn’t even taste good!!“
@@ninakaiser2930 that’s it! You spend a fortune on food and it tastes like crap 😅
I couldn't do it 😭I feel awful but I never cook for my allergy friends. I wouldn't risk it.
"sorry that I'm afraid of dying"
Right? People who can digest anything are a lot healthier
Lucky for me- I grew up with a celiac mum! So all the safety stuff is deeply ingrained in both my cooking, AND baking skills
Me while pregnant 😅 I’m a bit paranoid about food
Haha this is literally my friend!
Not the wooden chopping board 😔😔😔😔😔
Lint has barley in
@@Crystalstrange-r1g some do but some don’t. The excellence range doesn’t and is gluten free 😁
@@glutenhatesmyguts Is Lint same as Lindt chocolate? Google says it's not celiac safe. Thoughts?
I am Egyptian, and I just loved my people a little bit extra today!!❤❤😂 Tell your mother in law enty gamela khalis
I swear to God we don't even have xantham gum in my country and psyllium husk is almost the price of a mobile phone 😂
Hiya as a fellow ceoliac can you make a video about having stomach pains even though you haven't been glutened or how people think it's more healthy than normal living
Too true. And thank you for mentioning the mental health effects. Would love to see more shorts on that if possible.
@@Gertrude_Why absolutely! I’m working on a brain fog one right now, but can definitely do more on anxiety and depression
@@glutenhatesmyguts awesome thank you!
But was it made in a gluten safe facility?!
Did the gluten free places also had vegan options in Barcelona?
@@justlivehappylife8354 I’m not too sure sorry. I wasn’t looking out for it
I was in a pool in Mexico at the time I didn’t know I was coeliac ( a month before my diognisis ) and I suddenly felt this urgent feeling to go to the toilet but brushed it of because I was finally first in line for the slide long story short I ended up sh!tting myself 😅 and I got so scared because I was only 10 so I tried my best in cleaning myself up and went crying to my mum then in June I got my diagnosis 😂 your video was so funny and relatable !
Why is this really real
this accent is beautifully mesmerizing
At least her mother-in-law is showing she cares about her allergy I can appreciate that
@@BridgetBuchan-f7j she’s the best 😁
Very fitting 😅🙈
Fitting like a nice pair of stretchy pants.
I am also gluten allergic and it is very irritating
Thank you for this video. I'm about 2.5 years in and its a good reminder to kind to myself when I still feel rough sometimes!
@@LexiBattle ❤️ it can be tough at times but you’re right, you have to be kind to yourself. It’s a huge adjustment for sure!
Brilliant video. As a fellow coeliac I find your videos so entertaining. You’ve got to laugh or you’ll cry! It’s so frustrating having to explain this disease to friends and family. Thankfully my husband and son are both very supportive. ❤
You're not alone! I got glutened and missed my best friend's wedding. I have almost shit myself in public too mamy times. Love your content. So comforting to know im not the only one experiencing this.
Ah im so sorry that happened to you, it’s kind of comforting to know that I’m not alone 😊 ❤
"Hola, gracias por venir a este restaurante. ¿Qué te apetece hoy?" "My dogs shirt is green"
😂😂😂
"gluten friendly" 🤬🤬🤬🤬
I HATE this term!!!
@@glutenhatesmyguts Yes! No one who needs that menu associates gluten with "friend" LOL
exactly because why is everything a pissing may contain
I know!! May contains are worse because there wasn’t even any gluten in the product to begin with, but we still can’t eat it because it might have touched something that does contain gluten 🙄
@@glutenhatesmyguts i know it’s such a struggle😭 can’t even have a dairy milk bar anymore LOL
I (fellow celiac) was watching this in a silent library and was trying not to burst out laughing. Sorry about this experience, but the hilarious storytelling makes up for it. :D
haha I'm so glad you found it funny!! I can laugh at it looking back but at the time it was an absolute nightmare!
I got diagnosed a couple years ago, and all my friends would try and shove gluten in my face and then watch me fall back away from them, I get a rash if gluten even touches my skin so that was such a pain, I managed to stop them by telling them the symptoms I get, they looked traumatised by the end 😂
the shirt is spot on!
It’s available on my store 😊
😂😂😂
Unfortunately, people talk to disabled people like this too. I’ve had people tell me that I’m using my autism as an excuse when I tell them I can’t do something.
:( people are just mean!!
😂
🥱
This is actually good why does it have no views
❤ thanks! It’s picked up a little now 😊
if we can just reply that way!!! 😂😂😂😂
I think the older I get the more likely I am to reply like this. Can't wait to get to that age where I don't give a shit anymore haha
Thank you!
You’re not alone - happened to me in Olbia, Sardinian
I'm sorry this happened to you, but also glad to hear I'm not alone in this!
This is soo true, especially when they say “why don’t you just have a cheat day and eat loads of gluten”, that really bothers me
This is almost an exact reenactment of every time I am in the free from sections at stores and restaurants. 😂
