Can you completely remove the stock and buffer tube it looks like it’s only screwed on and not an important part like a traditional AR-15

Did you use it straight out the box or did you clean it first?

What is a good oil to use?

how did you get a stock on the original buffer tube? is that the end plate that came with rifle as well?

Where did you purchase from? A lot of the ones online require it’s for police/military, so curious if certain sites sell to civilians?

Great video thanks! Only tricky spot is where the extractor recesses can build up some lead and cause failures. Started just giving each a shot with compressed air and clean the rest as normal. Works like a champ. Great rifle. Subbd

I'll stick to my 452's thanks. The " Upgrade " to the 455 and 457 is purely for the upgrade to the bottom line of the company. Cheaper and faster is the theme of the day.

Planning on adding one of these to my collection next and, soon. Being I live in Washington state. Those in control are unfortunately not gun friendly. And have contimued to chip away at what we can have etc..really pisses me off! Thankfully, a shop that's FFL told me this is fine to get (for now). So gotta do it while I can.

Have exactly this firearm in 22mag. Love it! I also have a CZ 457 Jaguar, liked it so much I bought one for my lovely wife.

Where did you get the buttstock.

I've been collecting CZ rifles for about 30 years or so, and the premium model is just beautiful when I got mine. I was just going to keep it in the box as a little investment, but after seeing some of my collectors' friends passing away and their surviving families didn't care about the collection instead they sold everything I decided to shoot all my guns in the collection and enjoy them, CZ makes excellent rifles and the 22 premium is a perfect example.

There's a lot better options out there for the same money. This is damn near 20 year old technology at this point. Dots to consider over this from affordable to affordable but better: 1: Sig Romeo 5 $119 (auto on/auto off/T2 footprint/50,000 hours battery life) 2: Primary Arms Microprism 1x/3x $250-300 with mount: Etched illuminated reticle, great for astigmatisms, durable as hell, auto on/auto off 3:Holosun 515GM $280-300 (All the benefits of Romeo 5, but tougher, multiple-red-dot reticle options, terrible NV performance however) 4: Sig Romeo 4T Pro $460-500 My favorite dot. Equal to T2 for much less. All the benefits of previous dots, but even more durable, hand picked parts assembled in USA, best bang for buck out of box, equal light transmission to T2 under nods, 4 different reticle options including a BDC, multiple mount option, killflash, and accessories out of the box) 5: EOTech EXPS3-0 $500 on TacSwap Best NV light transmission in the whole game. Extremely crisp under magnification. 1MOA center dot. 20+ daylight brightness options. I think if you're a beginner go with a Romeo 5. If you want NV options and T2 equal performance 4t pro.

What kind of buffer system does it use? Is it compatible with conventional AR9 buffers, or is the recoil spring assembly contained in the upper?

How reliable is this rifle? Will it hold up to 5,000 rounds without anything breaking ?

Would you recommend doing this type of disassembly / cleaning before a first range visit?

I just got mine but Its all very stiff and I’m having a hard time taking it apart. I can’t even get the gas tube pulled back. Any suggestions or tips?

If you believe the field of view of the red dot is important, you aren't using it correctly.

Have you found a fix for the rubber stop?

If I go to change the stock or buffer tube be aware the buffer tube is uncommon commercial size.... not the mil spec which is the most common.

As a cancer survivor I wish you the best in your fight against cancer and it's a hell of a fight especially with strong chemo which I had also, I was 11 when I was diagnosed, I beat it within a few years and I'm now 39.

Great video and great rifle, but a Savage Mark II TR or FV will bough shoot just as tight groups at 50 yards, at a much lower price. I have the TR and even with my 75 year old eyes have shot groups 1/2" . Also watched a video of a father daughter, father shooting a Mark II FV and daughter shooting a target CV they bough shot bough rifles and bough rifles shot great tight groups at 50 yards. The daughter shot the tightest group using the Mark II FV, not by much but did edge our over the CV. I was looking at the CV and love the quality but when my Savage Mark II TR shoots just as good, is it worth the extra money, also see a video where a man has bough rifles and finds him self picking up the Mark II TR more often than the CV. I am still thinking about the CV for the beauty and quality, but a hard decision, a lot of money for just beauty.
