Work is done. There is nothing left to do but hunt. The plot is about as good as it could possibly be, and we have multiple quality stand locations for every wind direction

Grace's farm is a permission acreage they my family has hunted for 20 years. I went in today to freshen up and place cameras. This is an abreaviated tour, with a look at some of the bucks taken here over the years

There was a lot going on with this video, finally figured out how to upload and edit the footage I get with my new father's day. Go Pro. It's time to step it up a notch with our hunt and habitat footage. With our 2nd flood of the year at the Blackwater River Farm, we really needed to get out and check a few things
2nd flood of the season, BWRF is under water again

It's a little higher this time, and the mosquitoes have taken over. fortunately, the food plot did not flood, and it looks great
Annual Screen, Secret recipe.
มุมมอง 133 หลายเดือนก่อน
Due to poor preparation. I had to drive all over three counties to find one more 1/4 acre bag of a sorgum based screening product. I also came up with a 50 lb bag of milo feed that I can plant. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out

Now that’s a good season!! Shows hard work pays off to those willing to put it in!
@jimputnam7539 Yes, indeed. Thanks for commenting, Jim. We're starting to get some good bucks on camera for this fall, so stay tuned. Thanks again
When you said November 12
@AidenPrice-t3t thanks for commenting, Not sure what ya meant. The car went by, people in town could be heard yelling. The buck????
This was I think two days after my dad shot his biggest deer
Beautiful bucks congrats
Thank you!
👍
That's awesome! Congrats!
Thanks, we are looking forward to another great season coming up
Nice, nice video. Thanks for sharing.
I'm just a homeowner (3/4 acre yard - large city lot) but I've got 4 large black Walnut trees that grew before I learned about the juglone they produce. They are not THAT big yet, only about 10"-14" diameter, and I was looking up best ways to take them down. Now I've got to wonder about their growth rate (I may want to sell within 5-10 yrs). More though, I've got to wonder HOW I could benefit from them? Who would buy the wood? Would THEY take it down, or would I need to figure out doing that? Tbh, I'm not sure they could even be harvested, when that large, without taking them down in chunks. I've been looking to take them down asap PARTIALLY because there's a building in one direction, fences in another, and there's my mulberry and oaks and apples behind them. I have enough room right now, but as they grow my options for direction to fell will reduce... Idk. I'll start asking around though 🤷♀️ I'd appreciate any thoughts you may have on all this? I'm in the midwest btw, if that impacts anything. Thanks 😊
Most loggers will not even consider yard/town trees due to the high likelihood of metal in the tree, nails , fence posts, etc. Sorry to be the barer of bad news. If they are a problem, you will probably have to get a tree trimming company to remove them. That being said, if you can cut em down yourself and haul the logs to a local sawmill, you could get some $ for them. Hope that helps, Thanks for commenting
Also the trees need to be 16" plus to have any real value, and they are slow growers
Congratulations from Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 goog job
I love seeing the freshly turned over dirt, and it will be awesome to see what all you decide to plant!🌱🌱
Thanks Songbirds, I too love the freshly turned dirt, very satisfying. I could've been an actual farmer. Stay tuned for the planting. Thinking of a diverse mix of fall greens. Thanks again
@@whitetaildimensionllc2188 you are more than welcome!!

Quit showing just your face and sunglasses! You are not the star of the show ......the land is the star!
If you look back at other videos, many of them show exactly what you want! I believe it is good to mix things up a little!
Great Bucks Congratulations Well Done
Thanks, who wears crocks to go trespassing anyway
The way you said "crocks" has me dying laughing
🔥
Deer videos are for seeing deer. Not to watch you chat !
Point taken, Philip , I'll try to do better for ya next time buddy. Thanks for commenting
Guilty as charged. Thanks for your concern James. I do require my help to wear all the safety gear as seen in other videos on this channel. I personally choose not to. I can assure you alot of thought and prep went into each cut. Thanks again
Foolish. 😮..helmet? chaps?
I have the 270. I love that freaking gun.
Love them lil dinks!
Yeah, they are fun. I always seem to find at least one like that. Thanks
@@whitetaildimensionllc2188 key chain size is my favorite...
@jasonlarsen5739 good idea, that would make a cool Keychain. Thanks
I see a video of a football practice. Deer????
this was a follow up short taken from a longer video that has footage of deer In the food, and you can hear practice going on. I was trying to keep it under a minute. I'm not the best editor but getting better Thanks
All of the bucks i have on camera still have both antlers
Yeah it seems a little early to find too many, Thanks
Awesome,I'll be out today.
Funky little deer 😂
Yeah , funky fork horn. those small ones are fun to find. thanks
is it legal to hunt that close? dont wanna see you get in trouble for posting this.
perfectly legal, Thanks
they are everywhere.
It's what they get use to. People talk about staying off their property and only hunting the right wind and not making noise. I drive right up to deer in my yard on my tractor.
I agree to an extent, but it's still weird for me to have all the commotion going on
I work for Hwy dept . In CT. You should see the deer sign / deer we kick up in the strip of brush in center of the highway.

Rem 742 30-06 Wood master for me..

that's right, I think I knew that, but I didn't remember until now. Thanks for commenting, Robert
I hunt with a sporterized Winchester Model 1917
I am not a hunter, but I think it’s awesome that you hunt with your dad’s old rifle.
My father also had one in .30-06 and got quite a few deer with it. He once shot a coyote with it at a quarter mile or so. Yours is older. I don't know what happenned to his after he died.
Dang! that's a great shot, quarter mile is 440 yards. I don't doubt it. I've shot a handful of deer at well over 300. Very accurate at long range. Sorry you didn't end up with that rifle. Thanks for sharing Ken
Me too. He made the shot using that discontinued Accelerator ammo, which makes the shot even more impressive since it didn't have a reputation for accuracy. @@whitetaildimensionllc2188
Looks like an action based of their AMAZING Model 870, in the wonderful 30-30 cartridge.

I heard its a damn good Coon rifle as well 😉
I hunt with an 1898 Krag My grandfather passed down.
Nice! thank you
That’s the same model rifle that was used to kill MLK.
That’s a beautiful rifle, but I got you beat. An 1894 Winchester made in 1902 in 32 special
Awesome! Thanks for sharing
I’ve got a pre-war winchester model 70 that was made in 1936….. between my grandpa, my dad, and me it’s probably taken at least 80 deer.
Awesome! thanks for sharing that
Me hunting with a Enfield bolt action: "Hey, nice rifle"
Thank you
My dream rifle!!
I used to hunt with my late grandfather's Savage Model 99 in .300 Savage, but ammo for it has gotten hard to find/expensive and I'm afraid of damaging it so it is retired now.
I understand, I try to keep wear and tear to a minimum with mine. I don't ever want to hunt deer with any other rifle. Thanks
I have a Remington model 7600, pump 30-06. I'm 50, my parents bought it for me when I graduated high school. The deer that rifle has put down. In the last 32 years is quite a few. Every time I'm hunting with her. My dad is right there with me in my memories. Great video, guns just aren't guns to us. They are our parents, friends, family, loved ones. That we get a chance to hold one more time. Every time we pick up those special guns in our collections.
Well said, Nathan. Thank you
