for your "song getting emotional" part i'd say it's a staple of genocide songs or reflection in pacifist (like remembering a sad memory), but most regular bossfights both in undertale and deltarune don't follow this too much, like for example th-cam.com/video/zdeZwAk6ULE/w-d-xo.html bonetrousle from undertale as an example and th-cam.com/video/vBjscyFC3jo/w-d-xo.html attack of the killer queen from deltarune, these never have that emotional part, just parts where song slows down without turning off so your brain doesn't get constant stimuli for too long cuz then the song sounds too busy, it's "your brain needs to process this banger" part as i call it
