Jerusalem The Golden
Jerusalem the golden,
with milk and honey blest,
beneath your contemplation
sink heart and voice oppressed;
I know not, O I know not
what joys await me there,
what radiancy of glory,
what bliss beyond compare!
2 They stand, those halls of Zion,
all jubilant with song,
and bright with many an angel,
and all the martyr throng;
the Prince is ever in them;
the daylight is serene;
the pastures of the blessed
are decked in glorious sheen.
3 There is the throne of David;
and there, from care released,
the shout of those who triumph,
the song of those who feast;
and they, who with their Leader
have conquered in the fight,
forever and forever
are clad in robes of white.
4 O sweet and blessed country,
the home of God's elect!
O sweet and blessed country,
that eager hearts expect!
In mercy, Jesus, bring us
to that dear land of rest,
who are, with God the Father,
and Spirit, ever blessed.
with milk and honey blest,
beneath your contemplation
sink heart and voice oppressed;
I know not, O I know not
what joys await me there,
what radiancy of glory,
what bliss beyond compare!

For All The Saints
มุมมอง 2112 หลายเดือนก่อน
For all the saints, who from their labours rest; who to the world by faith their Lord confessed, your name, O Jesus, be for ever blessed: Alleluia, alleluia! 2 You were their rock, their fortress, and their might; you, Lord, their captain in the well-fought fight, and in the darkness their unfailing light. Alleluia, alleluia! 3 So may your soldiers, faithful, true and bold, fight as the saints ...
Who Are These Like Stars Appearing
มุมมอง 1632 หลายเดือนก่อน
Who are these like stars appearing, these before God's throne who stand? Each a golden crown is wearing; who are all this glorious band? Alleluia! Hark, they sing, praising loud their heav'nly King. 2 Who are these of dazzling brightness, these in God's own truth arrayed, clad in robes of purest whiteness, robes whose lustre ne'er shall fade, ne'er be touched by time's rude hand? Whence come al...

Safe In The Arms Of Jesus

The story behind this particular hymn is a rather difficult one. According to the resources I have, the thought behind this hymn came to her after an awful tragedy in Mrs. Crosby’s life. She was pregnant, but lost the baby during childbirth. She was so personally devastated by the event that she hardly spoke to anyone about it, and never told anyone if the child was a boy or a girl. Years later...
Once Only Once and Once For All
มุมมอง 1413 หลายเดือนก่อน
1 Once, only once, and once for all, his precious life he gave; before the Cross our spirits fall, and own it strong to save. 2 'One offering, single and complete,' with lips and heart we say; but what he never can repeat he shows forth day by day. 3 For, as the priest of Aaron's line within the holiest stood, and sprinkled all the mercy-shrine with sacrificial blood; 4 So he who once atonement...

That’s just the way Rufatti did their voicing in that era. Part of it is probably also the recording equipment itself.

This song brings back childhood memories the few times I attended the anglican church. Great song. Well played
@@myrlemoore7058 I’m happy my playing can bring back such good memories. Thank you.
Fella is gifted by God to play those keys. Those people wearing masks and 'ministering' should not be allowed in the fellowship. Can imagine them wearing masks tending to Jesus. Expel the maskers
All saints of God, pray for us & with us
I've never heard this before. Love it especially the last verse❤
It is usually sung for All Saints Day, which was celebrated last Sunday.
One of my favorites ❤

Thank you very much❤️❤️.
1 Immortal, invisible, God only wise, In light inaccessible hid from our eyes, Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days, Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise. 2 Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light, Nor wanting, nor wasting, Thou rulest in might; Thy justice like mountains high soaring above Thy clouds which are fountains of goodness and love. 3 To all life Thou givest, to both great and small; In all life Thou livest, the true life of all; We blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree, And wither and perish, but nought changeth Thee. 4 Great Father of Glory, pure Father of Light Thine angels adore Thee, all veiling their sight; All laud we would render, O help us to see: ’Tis only the splendor of light hideth Thee. 5 Immortal, invisible, God only wise, In light inaccessible hid from our eyes, Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days, Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.
