My puppy does this.. I take 3 medications for allergies.. not to mention I live in a place where we don’t have grass we have dust.. and he does this once every couple of months.. especially if I haven’t dusted. Is ur pup ok? And mine does this when he is super excited also.. we woke up at 2 am with him doing this.. needless to say it’s 7am and I’ve been holding him. I always pick him up hold his head towards the ceiling and rub his throat.. my baby.. I am so worried💔🤦‍♀️🐶🥹

This is trachea collapse. The best thing to do is lift doggies chin slightly and pet them to calm down. These breeds also shouldn't wear collars for a walk but rather a correctly fitted harness to avoid pressure on the neck.

Be extremely careful about giving sweet drinks to a baby because his teeth can grow in rotten. My nephew had a mouth full of capped teeth because that happened. His mother was only 14 years old, didn't know much. Also, he looks too old for a bottle. His teeth can point outward- buck teeth, if using a bottle, because they can be pushed forward to grow over a nipple. Wean him off of bottles, teach him to use a sippy cup- around the age of 10-12 months in the south, because nipples can cause buck teeth, and u can prevent the need for costly teeth braces. Anyways, just enjoy him, he will grow fast and these good baby times will be gone. Well, I can see that he is happy with u, so u must be doing something very right. Above all, teach him about Jesus, cause in this world, u want him to become a wonderful person and u know how easy it is for a child to follow his friends and go wrong, but if he knows God, he will be good to u and to everyone who meets him. I have a 13 week old boy Yorkie, and I feel like you've just described my Kimchi. He's a ball constant energy until he's ready to sleep.

The first time my Yorkie did this i almost had a heart attack

My morkie does this and all you need to do is place a finger across his nostrils for a few seconds which instinctively forces them to open their mouths to lick and breathe and BOOM all better works every time. No stress to the dog or you and no waiting for them to "work it out". Sometimes I have to do it twice if he starts up again but you'll realize how easy this fix is and wonder why no one told you sooner. 🙏❤️

I have a chorkie..he wants so much attention..mother being a chihuahua father a yorkie..can I ask where you buy the big green ball ? ..he's almost 2 Yr old this April..love him so much ..he gives so much more love back..very cheeky and funny too.

I have a senior Yorkie, recently adopted from a rescue. He wants to be active, but doesn’t want any of the toys I have brought in for him, follows every step I take, and is accustomed to getting a bite of everything eaten. He always has the reverse sneezing thing, which may be an early symptom of collapsing trachea; the vet is unsure. Yikes!

You have to start when they are young with Yorkies.because Yorkies are stubborn. Repetition is the name of the game ihave been a Yorkie mom for(15yrs) more than one yorkies..my last Yorkie at 9 yrs.old. do not like to many toys but I walk her early in the morning. Because Yorkie only need 30 minutes of exercise .and she'd.ready to eat her breakfast and go back to bed.but she loves chasing squirrels.

Our 4-5 year old Yorkie, Buddy, has a surprising solution for his reverse sneezing apparently. I didn't know what reverse sneezing was up until like a few minutes ago as I'm writing this comment, but after some reading I just kind of realized that Buddy usually just, got rid of his reverse sneezed on his own really. He started reverse sneezing about two years ago, usually out of nowhere, but whenever he gets one he just starts running around the house and that surprisingly fixes him up pretty good, we all just thought that he had extreme allergies but it seems like he just gets excited or something

That’s a lot of pressure to put on his godmother lol you were very lucky. I only met my godmother once when I was about 20 years old. It was after Christmas or New Year’s when I was home visiting my family. She made an amazing lunch for my mom and I. She made turkey soup and all the fancy dishes silverware and drinking glasses. It was the most wonderful visit and I have never forgotten that day.

Like that pup he will need love, patience, guidance and most important the teamwork of two engaged parents❣️you will mess up.. a bump here, an oops there, oh shit did that just happen 😅 everything you needed to know you learnt from a pet but now they are just 100% more important. I had a male rescue bulldog That was piddling everywhere. I ended up going to the dollar store and buying some of those orange road cones and set that on top of the P pads and I took no time for him to lift his leg on the cones instead of my house

Omg thanks for the video. My Yorkie is 6 months old. Got him approx 45 days ago. What a little cash cow he is. Plus major dental surgery! You really have to have your vet check those teeth. My baby had an inclusion which would of broke his jaw at maturity making his jaw misaligned. Remy is beautiful and healthy but you really need a great vet for these little chunks of love. My Remy loves to chew and keeping him from chewing after his major dental was hard. We are back in business and I love some of your chew toy suggestions. The “big ball” will be the winner I think. So tired of getting balls from under the couch. Remy starts with a in home trainer tomorrow to teach Mommy how to train him better. I love my little guy but he is a handful.
