I visited Haridwar on Diwali , I was a divine experience, So let me tell you all about my journey .
Haridwar:- The city is situated on the right bank of the Ganges river, at the foothills of the Shivalik ranges. Haridwar lies in doab region where people speak khari boli.[5] Haridwar is regarded as a holy place for Hindus, hosting important religious events and serving as a gateway to several prominent places of worship. Most significant of the events is the Kumbha Mela, which is celebrated every 12 years in Haridwar. During the Haridwar Kumbh Mela, millions of pilgrims, devotees, and tourists congregate in Haridwar to perform ritualistic bathing on the banks of the Ganges to wash away their sins to attain moksha.
I started my journey from
Chandigarh - Haridwar
Bus fare :- 600₹ per head for Volvo Om Sai Express
Drop point :- On highway out side of Haridwar Bustand
We took Auto to our hotel
Auto fare - 150₹
Hotel :- Fab hotel bhuptwala
Hotel rent :- 2k for 2 days
Our hotel to Har ki pauri was 2km far
We took auto to Har ki pauri
Auto fare :- 10₹ per head

Rope way fare - 200 per head both way charges .
