My wrx key fob stopped working same as yours but as I open the car with the key the alarm goes off and it won’t start dash lights up but nothing! If I bump it it’ll start but the alarm still goes off ? Can you help please it’s been 2 months now and no one knows what’s wrong with it

So I've been stuck trying to figure out when I look at my Bluetooth I can see OBD2 available but it doesn't let me do anything when I click on it it doesn't even blink

For the reverse cam to be wired properly the cam should be plugged into cam in not video in and the red reverse cable needs a 12v power to tell it you have selected reverse. then you don't need to press anything as soon as you select reverse the radio will bring up the camera.

Heyya all! A 2005 Legacy new owner here... Same key, same issue with the locking-unlocking. It's not working at all. Not even the engine!! The key turn gives life to all accessories, but just won't start, not even a cranky or a click. The ECU recognizes the key as the flashing red dash key symbol stops. I cannot find online where might be the issue, so I tried using the PIN keypad but it should give a flashing red LED when pressing any button and it does not. Do you know if there are any fuses to blame? All the ones I've seen seem to be in order.

Hi mate you seem to no scoobys my sti uk 2008 hatchback cut out on me other day.it has no crank when I turn key battery hood still have everything else work lights central locking ect.when I turn key now I have nothing like when immobilized.checked fuses .earth straps all seem fine.the temp gauge pegs straight to hot at max to it’s so frustrating as I need the car any info would be much appreciated

Connect the red pigtail to the reverse live wire. Connect the other side to the “car back”. The reason the av cable for the camera isn’t working is because you need to power(live) the car back wire for it to work.

Hi. You didn't use OEM seals ,are them still good, anyone failed for cause leak. Because I heard aftermarket seals will brake easily and cause injector leak.tnx

The main reason I bought a Subaru Forester was so I could sleep in the back sometimes during road trips. Then I realized a flaw in my plan. As long as the fob is very close to or inside the vehicle, the doors will always open when the handles are pulled. Since I will always have the fob with me in the car, I will always be unsafe there, because burglars can target my car while I'm sleeping in there . Is there a way to lock the doors so they will not unlock or open from the outside when the fob is inside? ~ Thanx.

Ok, another video with the wrong idea. Can you fix this video. That red wire is used to bring a +12V signal from the backup light bulb to the radio harness labeled backup. The wire in the radio harness is usually labeled backup. When you install the backup camera, it taps into the backup bulb +12 and GND. That red wire get tapped into the backup camera power wire and follows along that long RCA connector to bring it up front to the radio. When you click in reverse, the camera turns on and that long red wire signals the radio to turn on the backup screen.

already resolved many time ago, had to cut the pink cable near the can bus and connec the red cable that cames together with the rca from tha camera to this pink cable that like this goes to the radio

I have this same issue with my automatic 2016 Subaru G4. Did you figure out your issue?

If it doesn't switch to the camera but you have the reverse wired go to Car settings > Factory Settings the password is 126 then go to other , scroll down to "Prohibit Reverse" and set it to Enable and it will work.
