Yeah it can get so much heavier. Some of the longest hold downs I’ve ever had out there and only like 6 foot Hawaiian too. Can’t imagine 8. 🤙

I moved here from the big island like 6+ years ago and I've been out in pretty much all the biggest south swells the last 5 years and that wave was without a doubt the most top to bottom heavy wave I've ever seen in Waikiki. You can see it's pretty much double overhead from the guy on the wave 🤷‍♀

@@_aidan_b lol ok buddy any average day on the north shore has more power then any swell on the south shore. If you were grown here not flown here you would know that. Stay on the south shore with your double overhead huge waves buddy. haha

I would definitely check out Moku, they have a lot of different boards for very cheap 🤙

the waves may be small at times, but Waikiki was always my favorite surf spot on island. Literally paradise. Even have a traditional aloha tattoo with diamondhead on it.
