This is Van Cliburn's arrangement of the Russian song "Moscow Nights" (by Solovyov-Sedoy). He performed this piece for the Russians after winning the 1st Tchaikovsky Competition, at his last recital in Moscow on May, 14, 1958. Lol. This is the Kazakh folk dance Kara Zhorga. The dance is Kazakh, the music is Kazakh, the words in the song that sound are in the Kazakh language. This is a Kazakh dance, and the Kazakh language.
Wow, a bit emotional here. From Wikipedia, "...Kara Jorga became most popular among Kazakh and then Kyrgyz people. Similar dance moves🤣 are also native to Mongolian people." This is a dance performance, not a singing performance. There is nothing wrong with the dance being called a Mongolian Dance.

@@qingshanli7511 , Initially, this piece of music refers to the famous ancient musician Taiyru, who is from the Kerey clan, within the subgenus Abak-Kerey. They belong to the Kazakhs. This musician had the most famous piece Salkuren. In the 20th century, a Kazakh wrote a song based on this piece of music and called it Kara Zhorga, which means Black Pacer. Zhorga is a horse's run, in Europe this type of run is called a gait. The authorship, as well as the patent for this piece, belongs to the Kazakhs.
@@qingshanli7511 The information is 100%, because Kazakhs are traditionally obliged to remember each of their clans and at least 7 of their ancestors. Usually, the genealogy of Kazakhs has at least 12 generations. The number 7 is conditional, because according to tradition, Kazakhs do not have the right to marry if their clans intersect with each other up to the 7th generation. This is a very ancient Turkic tradition, so everyone knows and remembers their clan not only by name, and can easily name all of their ancestors at least up to the 12th generation.
