@fadzlifz2431 S curve does not means that it should be like S shapped. But every shape have meaningful like linear means unform work . Front loaded means start work is more then end back loaded means in end their is higher work then start like that trapezoidal , bell shapped and alot of more shapes have meanings to under planned work density as compared to time and units or cost.

@fadzlifz2431 in cumulatively every upcoming point should be higher value than previous. If it's same then also not issue. Next point should be equal or higher then previous. If it comply with this condition then ok.

@Hamid_Khattak if project have been monitored only on budgeted labor or non labor units then take performance percent for that also. Please remember in case if you don't have cost at project then you will use performance percent. If cost is their it means performance percent is reserve for Earned value. Then update actual units from direct labor units calculated in weekly or daily reports.if you exact activity wise actual units then you can put in P6. Otherwise divide the timeperiod units with budgeted labor units you will get percentage for the period.

@saudpm40 The process cannot be explained in text . In simple the answer is apply weights on activities in excel and import. In future if we got some spare time . We will share relevant video. You can check other sources currently

@saudpm40 its 5 year old video please check latest earned value and S curve videos. Moreover duration type suitable for construction industry is fixed duration and units. Units/time should be relaxed. Moreover in revise schedule or recovery baseline resource assignment can be assigned new. Any baseline can have resource assignment but an updated schedule should not change its resource or relationship rather scope change

First, there is no filter in the global change for setting the activity status as "not equal to completed." Second, we never instructed you to change the percentage. Please review the formula used to calculate the new start date and remaining duration. A lot of important details were missing due to video editing. We plan to release an updated tutorial, which might take some time, but the technique is now more refined and detailed.
