I need you, I'm drowning! Helpm me in a parish that refuses to acknowledge because they don't want to know as they are favorites and teaching their kids. I've lost all and left to wolves. They 23-30 give past 3 yrs. Me 81. Justice lost. Lies destroyed. They thrive. Parish no trial but sentenced. I am to die alone w/0 sarcemntents. Please help me. Medjugorge blest.
Love the virtue!! Everything has in its place!! Yes declutter!!! That’s hard for sure
I am not quite back to normal having a cold but managed today and yesterday at Christ the King. I made a error in the homily .Domitian was the younger brother of Titus adopted by Vespasian ( not his son) who had beenelected emperor by his followers. Titus was left to destroy Jerusalem in 70ad when Vaspasian was made emperor . Domitian followed Titus as emperor of Rome. 😊😊
Are NPDs considered mentally ill by God? Does God consider their guilt lessened because of their NPD?
My apostate and anticlerical husband has NPD and this has destroyed our marriage and family. Instead of thank you and sorry, it’s blasphemy, sacrilegious or violent tirades, shaming speech, humiliation attacks, denigrating speech, bullying and physical abuse. How am I supposed to believe my prayers can help his salvation? I’m almost completely separated now.
The bloopers 😂
I loved the bloopers so much 😀❤️
They are dang cute. I look forward to these. Oh, hearing from you also Monsignior.
So absolutely adorable. What would we do with out young ones in our life. ❤❤❤
Great homily, thank you Father
Thx you for the powerful homily ❤
You give me the way I should practice every moments of my day 🙏
Love the bloopers at the end 😂
Mo and I miss you Monsignor, Gus, and Priscilla! Obvisously we still check out the message.
❤
You need to simply run. Pray for them, fast for them and leave them in God's hands. I tried for decades with my own mother. At some point you must love yourself as you would love another, and take your own prudent advice : leave. It is no spiritual act of mercy to bear certain wrongs patiently ad infinitum to the detriment of yourself, your spouse and your children. I realize that consoling the sorrowful is an act of mercy and that legitimate NPD is a trauma response but, again, you cannot take psychological trauma ad infinitum. There is scriptural precedence for this (pearls before swine, for instance).
Wow!! So much happening. It is a blessing from God for sure!🙏✝️💕
The audio is always super low, any way you can bring it up in post production?
Thank you Father for this excellent Homily and your direction. Quite the eye opener and sadly too true. No one gets through the Gates of Heaven without the Virtue of Humility. May our Lady of Sorrows (today's Feast Day) lead us all by her example. God Bless you always!😇🙏💞
❤
Good morning
Beautiful homily Monsignor
I wish more Novus Ordo parishes celebrated Mass like this. So reverent and amazing, thank you.
Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you, Monsignor Cihak!
👏
My main takeaway is that y’all need more microphones 😅 we plan to be there!!
The audio is very low even with the microphone
I can attest to how wonderful Alpha has been in my life as a Catholic convert, but also precisely in connecting me to community here at St Mary's - Corvallis. So I would encourage this opportunity as something to seriously consider for the school community!
Thank you for defending our religion and way of life!
Wow!! Another great homily!! Thank you Monsignor.
Nice homily Deacon Will
Thank you for sharing the truth about abortion in a compassionate way.
Narcissists have very limited emotions. Mainly anger, fear, shame, envy and paranoia.
Roman Catholicism is such a self satisfied creed.
Unless this man is married then Paul said he has devoted him self to a deceitful spirits and teachings of demons Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer. (1Ti 4:1-5 ESV) Paul tells Timothy bishops, priest, ministers, Christian Teachers not should, but Must be the Husband of one wife. The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church? He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover, he must be well thought of by outsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, into a snare of the devil. Deacons likewise must be dignified, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for dishonest gain. They must hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. And let them also be tested first; then let them serve as deacons if they prove themselves blameless. Their wives likewise must be dignified, not slanderers, but sober-minded, faithful in all things. Let deacons each be the husband of one wife, managing their children and their own households well. For those who serve well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus. (1Ti 3:1-13 ESV)
We love Fr Justin and will miss him lots! What a historic mass

This was probably one of the most interesting and informative talks. I’ve ever heard on the subject.
Thank you Fr. John

Thank you Monsignor John. Your Mass reminded me of Mass I attended as a youth at St. Joseph the Worker in W.Va. Good to see you. God Bless -- Judy Corwin
Farewell Farlly. May you rejoice when you see Jesus face to face in His kingdom.🙏🏼
POPE BENEDICT XVI: “Christ is not so much interested in how often in your lives you stumble and fall, as in how often you pick yourselves up again. He does not demand glittering achievements, but he wants his light to shine in you. He does not call you because you are good and perfect, but because he is good, and he wants to make you his friends. Yes, you are the light of the world because Jesus is your light. You are Christians - not because you do special and extraordinary things, but because Christ is in your life. You are holy because his grace is a work in you.”
Thank you!
The word narcissism is thrown around very lackadaisically and is readily confused with just plain human pride/arrogance. I think a problem is that NPD is something that people who have had very traumatic childhoods develop. They didn't seek it out but the physical/mental abuse that they endured broke their psyche and NPD is the result. They didn't consciously choose to be a narcissist one day, but were broken so much that they develop narcissism as a way to counter the damage and survive, but their behavior is often sinful and damaging to others and doesn't deserve any excuses. They need serious healing and therapy to repair the spiritual wounds that were inflicted on them, which ultimately led to their narcissism in the first place. Being prideful is one of the narcissistic personality disorder symptoms, but an arrogant person isn't always a narc.
