This is a great song. Not to undermine the artist, but don't under estimate the subtle fiddle parts. I love this song. The production of this song is fire. To the buildups and the backups and harmonies. LFG I'm gettin Tipsy - BTW True Reaction. Subscribed.

I LOVE THE Violins 🎻 And This Song!!!
The Official Summer Song of 2024. His actual name is Collins Chibueze, born and raised in Virginia to Nigerian parents, his friends growing up couldn't pronounce his name right and kept calling him Shaboozey, which he kept as his stage name.
WOW. That's crazy shouts out to Boozey.
Love him ❤️

Baby country came from the community. Many don’t know the history of cowboys and that country is loved by so many races. I’m a Jamaican but baby pull out some Twain and watch me get on that dance floor 😂
LMFAOO, I appreciate the knowledge!

You have to listen to his other songs. I’m a 44 yr old Jamaican that love some country music and glad some new blood in town.
You just need to move to the music 🎶 😊
It's a shame that something like this had to happen in the first place. When this whole thing happen I was having a conversation with my sister, who's an attorney, and she was saying that in the USA the security guard would have grounds for a fat juicy payday in a lawsuit against Drake because of the beef with Kendrick. Not trying to throw shade or say this was done at the command of Kendrick, but fans will get buck over some pretty dumb stuff, look at John Lennon or Selena. If this shooting was linked to the Kendrick beef then Drake is equally responsible for the safety of his employees and his security is responsible for Drake's safety. So, if the security guard is Drake's employee then we know he's partly responsible for that man getting shot.
This track felt like Kendrick was just rubbing it in Drake's face and having fun on the mic. I'm going to reiterate my statement about LA diss tracks hitting different.
Diss tracks from LA just hit different. Right from the opening bar I knew this was going to be a lyrical homicide and it felt like Kendrick only had to put 50% of his energy into this track to get a crippling blow. This track reminds me of the 50 Vs Ja Rule beef back in 04. (Yeah, I'm an old ass man.) That beef destroyed Ja Rule and ended his whole career because he tried to fight back. Then everybody clowned him again for what happen with Fyre Fest. I think Drake should take the L, walk away, and proceed with his life. I started to respect him after the God's Plan music video. Especially because I'm a Miami native, from a not-so-friendly neighborhood. Seeing him walking around and giving away the video budget was really great. But, this showed me something. Drake is better off doing philanthropy than fighting. He can accomplish more by trying to be the good guy who doesn't beef with people than trying to be this fake ass tough guy.
Honestly, I thought the worst part of all this was him throwing shade at Michael Jackson. MJ went to court, Submitted DNA, gave the prosecutors anything they wanted. Then, even when he won the case he still turned around and gave that Boy's father money. Personally, I don't think Michael was boopin' little boy booty holes. If he was I think we would have seen Macaulay Culkin distance himself. But, even after Michael's death Macaulay was still defending that man. The beef between Kendrick and Drake is whatever to me. I feel like a lot of the beef in the industry is manufactured to sell records and get airplay. Overall it didn't feel that solid to me. I'd give this a 6. Maybe a 7 overall. This isn't Killshot by Eminem. Which caused MGK to quit rap, wear pink, and play pop punk. This isn't No Vaseline by Ice Cube that literally destroyed a group and a record label. This isn't like the 50 vs Ja Rule stuff on the early 2000s that ended Ja Rules fame. For me this is slightly above mediocre, but I don't think Drake is that great of a rapper to begin with.
Absolute bop
I feel like the most powerful part of this song is not the incredible amount of catchiness that the beat and vocals have, but the extremely high level of relatability it has for the blue collar man or woman. Everything he says in the opening verse is so relatable that its almost painful, especially in the current economy. The hook playing off J-Kwon's 2004 smash hit Tipsy is relatable to anybody in America Between the ages of 25 to 50, and maybe even 60 or 70. The average American person in that 25-50 age bracket knows what it's like to live a life like this to some degree. We've been cold. We've been hungry. We've been broke. And people tell us to care about things that are well beyond our control. We will seek out nights of alcohol induced surges of dopamine to feel better in the moment because we know that "Monday" is around the corner. It's a horrible way of living. This song really encapsulates that "hamster on wheel" feeling and the pain that comes from it. All of that being said. I think I've watched like twenty reactions to this song at this point from content creators from all across skin color spectrum. You're the first black creator I've seen that said that they genuinely like country music. Other's have liked the song, but openly stated they were not fans of country and would turn it off if it came on the radio. I believe your statement about this, and I subscribed immediately because of it. While this song is absolutely incredible, and will undoubtedly be one of the best 100 country songs of this generation I don't think it can be labeled the GOAT just yet. Shaboozey has a bag full of bangers though, and they range from that same country twang to raw trap. You should check out "Tallboy" and "Snake." These would both be great for a reaction. His parents are Nigerian immigrants and his father is a big fan of Kenny Rogers and that's where his love for country music came from. I would love to see you do some more reactions, to all genres of music. I think there's a few country sleepers you could peep too. Some that I would recommend that a lot of people overlook are "Kate McCannon" by Colter Wall. It's a sad song about love, and murder. Another good one is "Turtles All the Way Down" by Sturgill Simpson. This one is wild, and it's about smoking weed, tripping on mushrooms and acid, meeting Jesus Christ, The Devil, Buddha, Aliens, recognizing your own mortality, and the life saving effect of love. You'll want to have the lyrics for this one, because it's a pretty wild ride, and the music video feels like you're tripping on a fist full of drugs that no song from Future could come close to touching.
Much love Bladder, sorry for getting to this message months later. I appreciate the thought-out message man and will definitely check out the songs you suggested. I had went and listened to "Kate McCannon" by Colter Wall with a friend and honestly it wasn't my cup of tea it could've been the fact Colter is a much older artist and his style/pace of music just didn't clingy on to me like the rest of his fans might say.
@@Reecossauve I can completely understand not liking Colter Wall's style. He's a very 'old soul' as some would say. But, he's not an old man. He was only born in 1995. I think him being so young, and writing such deep and painful lyrics is one of the things that makes him such a talented artist. While I'm here I thought I would drop a couple hidden hip-hop gems on you to check out too. One would be "Omniverse" by Greydon Square. Greydon is your stereotypical story from Compton. Orphan, gangbanger, dope dealer. He caught a really bad charge when he was 17, they tried him like an adult. They gave him a plea deal. The deal was to enlist in the U.S. Army and NOT be a felon, or lose the case and go to prison. He took the deal. 2 weeks after he graduated bootcamp 9/11 happen. six months later he's in Iraq. War caused him to lose his faith in God. When he came home the streets wanted him back, but he wasn't willing to risk his life or freedom. So he used the G.I. bill to go to college in Arizona. He studied astrophysics and now he raps about science and philosophy. He's the ONLY rapper to have their music played in the International Space Station. He doesn't have a record deal. He doesn't want one. He doesn't care about fame or money. The song "Omniverse" is about a single celled organism that evolves until it becomes a sentient lifeform (like humans) and then progresses until it conquers the Galaxy. The track is over 5 minutes long and there's no hook or chorus. 100% bars. EDIT: Song 2, "Summer's Ending" By Greydon Square - This is the better one to watch FIRST. It's about a Genius who separates himself from society because his mind can't fit in. The world thinks he's crazy. There's a good music video for this one too. Enjoy!
Shaboosy, hit it out of the park with this one!
