Are you still using x (twitter)?
yes i still use x!
Noice!!

Lmao what's in the air here, but like an earlier comment, you really sound intelligent. I enjoyed your take on the subject.
Im not quite sure haha! Thanks for the compliment and thanks for hearing me out on this topic! 🥰
I'm at a very low point in my life, right now. Don't tempt me to go into debt just to see Japan😑 Coz I'll do it, on my mama... I'll do it!
im not a good influence 😭 i WILL encourage you to go!
FUN FACT: the song i was listening to was HaPpY by Han of Stray Kids 🥰
Moving overseas in my 20s was the best thing I could have done for myself. To see how I could live freely and comfortably abroad was a game changer on how I approached life. So much so that I'm considering another move now in my 30s. All of the things and feelings you mentioned are so valid. I recommend women specifically get out and explore as much of the world as possible. It's very highly rewarding.
Sad to see some people still being the worst versions of themselves for kicks
yeah for no freaking reason
Does this also works for influencers? Cause I would like to know as I have been trying to go to Japan but just keep putting it off due to family situation.
Yeah that showtime on the train thing is usually done by kids trying to busk on the train. It’s annoying as FUCK here 🗽 too!!
Ignorance and privilege released on the world. This comes from living in a bubble. Big dope slap 👋🏾 to the back of the head for this stupidity. These kids parent’s WERE watching them when they acted a fool and there was no consequence then either.
True def didn’t consider the ones who just wasn’t raised right 😭
As a Thai who studied in Canada for 12 years and also encountered with alot of Americans of all sorts, I can tell you that right now Americans have a massively bad reputation across the board. Whether it be passport bros, karen feminists, or young black Americans. From what I understand from my Thai perspective, especially after covid, we are basically being lumped up to the Asian Americans who "secretly" hate black Americans and betrayed them in their activism or never have their back. Especially when it comes to Japanese, it is spread among young black Americans that Japanese people do not respect them or hate them secretly or fear them. They like to please white people more. What needs to be told to them is.....by the time they get to be here, the westerners that get to have enough wealth to travel all the way to this sides are white. And how they misbehave here, unlike Japanese, Thai people will karmically respond back in kind. We are really big on karma. Japanese on the other hand is suppressively polite. Thai people do not hate black Americans just yet until there are enough patterns for us to see as common such as how Indians treat our women and services. Unless young black Americans want to stupidly make more enemies out of neutral parties, we would highly seriously advise people to tell them.....set good impression as a masses as possible so that our impression of you don't move into something like we hating Indians. Because right now, Japanese already set up warning sign of a black person picture not to dance. :) Just by 2 cents.
*I've lived and worked in Japan for a long time. They should just deport these idiots--or even prosecute them if their "antics" are serious enough.*
Europeans tend to believe they are #1 in Asia and are often very arrogant about it. If you think I'm kidding, look up Julien Blanc(ジュリアン・ブランク)who literally put random Japanese women's heads into his crotch. He was conducting seminars explaining that white can do whatever they want in Japan... Japanese generally do not retaliate in extreme ways. Don't pay much mind to Europeans/white people being mean to you in Japan, but let it serve as motivation to study and exceed in Japanese language. In Japan, many are brainwashed by GHQ since losing WW2 against (white) Americans. This has imprinted a sort of inferiority complex in many Japanese, which is very unfortunate. However, breaking stereotypes first comes with education and a demonstration of competence, and elegance. I'm just a random person on the internet, but I think you will do well.
I suggest getting a large waterproof bandaid to cover your tattoo if you want to use the onsen/sento (bathhouses) in Japan. Often they will reject anyone with tattoos as it's seen as related to Yakuza.
I could actually help you meet Japanese people. You come across as intelligent and I imagine your Japanese is quite good.
wow thank you so much! 😄 That would be amazing to meet more Japanese people! I’m not as fluent as I’d like yet, so I’m still studying daily!
Are you still in Japan?
im visiting family for a bit but i’ll be back in spring!! ☺️🤍
@@sakuranje Nice! Maybe one day you could also visit Hawaii (Oahu), as there are a lot more opportunities to speak Japanese.
@@shin-ishikiri-no oh good to know! Its one of my vacation spots to visit one day!
They really are trying to make it harder for the rest of us.
I agree, please stop coming here if you are going to act like a fool. We already have enough US Military stationed here doing that. Western and Chinese Tourists are very rude, loud and just obnoxious. They do not respect Japanese culture and public behavior norms.
Was just in Japan and I wish some of the people I was with saw this, it was so embarrassing and things happened where I was ashamed to be associated, they didn’t listen to me… I did my best to be respectful and follow their customs
But Japan is great 😢
@@MeowingCat835 please watch the video! 💕 its not geared towards normal japan loving tourists! Just rowdy tourists causing issues!
@@sakuranje thanks, i will!
Don't go to Japan!
true! all careless behavior needs to be kept away!
there is one rule. respect the spaces of others. you are a guest in a foreign land. unless you are the type of person that would take a shit on your neighbors carpet, openly and in front of them, you should know that your antics, no matter where you go, will not be appreciated. and if you are doing it for clout or notoriety, or due to your own deep ignorance, then take a shit in your own house instead. stay home, and ruin your own spaces.
Girl. I live in europe..I speak German and a bit of Spanish... America is NOT the place to be. You're doing the right thing.
Your hair is amazing
@@AA-cm3pd thank you so much 🥰🫶🏾
There is nothing wrong with moving around. I’m 29 I’ve lived in France, GA,FL,NJ & NY. People said the same things about me and I responded well I’m not going to be miserable and stuck in one place for the rest of my life at least I can say I’ve found places to make me feel alive. ny will be my forever home for sure but I will never stop traveling.
@@OfficialMonroeBrooKe that’s great thats the exact sentiment i have! I’ve lived in fl, ga, tx, and haiti and now after spending significant amount of time in japan i only feel alive in japan! Im glad this video resonated with you!
Hi ! If the only problem for me would be a foreign language that would be not a problem. Contrary to you, I would love leaving U.S. , but I have no money to do so. I blame my parents for bringing me to this hell hall. I also heard that some people , who came to Japan, found their souls mate there, including job. It depends on your luck.
@@slavvalb3933 hi! In the video i actually discuss a lot of things i deal with when the thought about moving to japan is in my head! the language acquisition is no problem for me but i put in multiple scenarios to accommodate to my viewers since these are things a lot of people have struggled with! A lot of good comes out of moving abroad and this video was more geared towards validating towards those emotions people have when thinking about moving. Not “actually” saying i regret leaving because in fact i hate it in the U.S thats just an eye-catching thumbnail since im a smaller creator trying to grow 🫶🏾
You're so sweet and I like your expression. We’re always waiting for you❤

hehehehe glad you enjoyed it!! 💗
Hellow, Thank you for your video and I'm new here but how can I get to japan from South Africa?
Hi! I made a video about how to move to Japan! it's mostly tailored to the American experience on moving to Japan but I think you can take many points from it and compare to the requirements with the South African government! Feel free to check it out and let me know if you have any questions!
do you ever plan on going back to Japan?
Hi! yes for sure!
@ okay ,I love your videos btw!!
Great video but men on dating apps and nanpa men are 99% trash.
To be fair a lot of men feel if they don't do ナンパ they will never meet girls (often true, unfortunately). I think in general women need to be more proactive. This may be especially the case in Japan where a lot of men are shy.
Wow
Japan's a desert for single foreign women. Known fact since last century. Don't waste your precious time ! Unless you're doing a Ph.D in socio-anthropology. Move to a country where men are raised by their moms in a normal fashion.

When i visit japan i feel like this would be my fav spot!
it would totally match ur vibe w how cozy it is out there ngl
This video deserves more views! I learned so much and I can’t wait to go to Japan ✈️😊
hehehehe tysm pookieee!!! Imma b ur personal guide when u get out there too 🤍
Racism in japan is not about Black people. Racism in japan is about other asian races (chinese, korean and south east asian)
I believe you may have misunderstood the point of the video! This is for black people who have fears of traveling to Japan due to misconceptions in the media that portray Japan as a super racist society towards black people specifically. This video is not about the xenophobia towards other asian countries as I can't speak on that in the same manner as i did for this video since I included my own personal experience in Japan 🤍
That is the point, japanese medias do not talk badly about Black people. I can understand your fears of traveling in a country with a xenophobic reputation. Racism against black ppl could be extreme sometime, you got the point. But this kind of racism was born in Europe, especially in the UK and ex british colonies. You cannot be affraid of this kind of situation in a society who did learn how to treat black people badly, even if you dont look like a local. The videos and articles about Black people in japan are made by white american or australian because they are used to do it 😅
Fellow Black girl in Tokyo here! Loved this video! I just made a similar video because when I was thinking about moving here earlier this year, there were virtually no *current* videos about how to move or what to expect. Happy the next wave has resources haha
omg heyy! I need to tap in!! I seen your vids from recommended vids!! totally agree! I literally went through so much when learning abt it but now that I'm actively in the process I thought to show the steps I'm doing rn!! We should connect! I'll be going back to Japan really soon! 🤍
@@sakuranje absolutely! And if you have any questions about settling in, feel free to ask. I hope your move goes smoothly!
