@@svdtrumpet Skye - it was a delight to serendiptously run into your presentation. Improvisation is a wonderful thing that Traditional Music Education keeps away from everyone - and this is a tragedy. Everyone should be having as much fun as you and your players were having in your presentation. It opens up new worlds to find that you have a voice and that you can create, not just be a passive consumer. And at the very least, improv is a great tool for advancing both technique and musicality. I am retiring from the biz (more or less - I have about 8 more books to do...) in 4 weeks, so I will miss doing my improv class, although some of my students will be carrying on. Don't know what the new horn teacher will be doing; the horn studio always had an improv concert (making up the concert at the concert) the night before the repertoire recital, and as you pointed out, improv lowers performance anxiety with regular repertoire. Download discord and I'll send you a copy of the transposed sheet music when it's done. I'm making one for violin but it should work for piano too. I'm going to be putting it in the key of C but if you need it in anything else for a different instrument I'll do it😊

No! In fact Tenor Sax is a Bb instrument, so there is no transposing required. You can just read the music as is
