🌱 Powering the Present and Building a Greener Future:SVP isn’t just about providing electricity-it’s about community impact and environmental responsibility. Their investments in public EV charging stations at key locations, including the Santa Clara Convention Center and Central Park Library, make it cheaper and easier to drive electric. Plus, SVP offers rebates for energy-saving upgrades like attic insulation, heat pumps, electric appliances, EVs, e-bikes, and chargers.
Thinking about installing an EV charging station at home? Don’t forget to get a permit-it helps SVP ensure that the grid remains stable and prevents overloading. And yes, there’s a rebate waiting for you when you do!
🏡 Giving Back to Santa Clara Residents:SVP contributes 5% of its revenue to the city’s general fund, which supports parks, infrastructure, and other community projects-meaning a portion of your energy bill goes directly into improving the city we love. With affordable, clean energy and community-first values, SVP stands apart as more than just an electric utility.

When Is the Best Time To Sell a Home in Santa Clara?
Amazing story
Muito Obrigada, Vinicius! This is great because a lot of people don't know what is at stake in our local elections. I will vote for sure!
Santa Clara for trump 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸Santa Clara has turned into Mexico
FACTS!
Don’t you mean China 🤨
@@SketchyMrKrabs at least they’re legal immigrants. Also, the schools have been majority Hispanic since the 90s.
We must also bring back the US Constitution. Some people do not believe in freedom of speech. Newsom waisted billions of dollars. The Plandemic caused a delay in the Related project. That caused a loss of city revenue. Our property taxes are higher this year. We are now being asked to pay more. I have a better idea. Vote in Conservative politicians. This will help bring in more revenue. We need more politicians like Kari Lake and President Trump.
I first tasted Stan's donuts in the 80's when I worked at the Santa Clara Marriott as a PBS operator. The Bellmen would get money together to bring in dozens of donuts to eat. It was Heaven!!! Stans is the GOAT!
Great job, Primo!!! Very well done and you did an amazing job capturing our family culture. I remember participating in the festas, parades and sopas. Such a key part of my upbringing.
Imagine a donut so fresh that you have to let it cool off for 10 minutes.
Great video, very well made with a great explanation of the Azorean Portuguese people in Santa Clara. My parents immigrated from San Miguel, Azores in 1966, we first lived in East Providence and moved to San Jose in 1972 for my father's engineering position with GTE, he later joined Atari as a QA Manager in 1974-1986.
Cool video, are you going to make a video for the 2024 Santa Clara Art and Wine Festival?
Cool video and and history of Stans. My favorite donut shop is also Stans Donuts in Santa Clara, Cal but my favorite is the Bavarian Creme donuts made only on Wednesday - Sunday, however they sell fast, I was at Stans this morning at 7.30 am sitting at the counter, they only had four left, and I ate two.
You're awesome.
Murder capital of the world
Why the ridiculous music . The music is Negative staging for the video as it is too loud therefore distracting
Thats not the real stans donuts, this the other one
It is the same shop that has been there since at least 1988 when I moved to Santa Clara. The best donuts anywhere!
There is another Stans Donuts in Los Angeles that was featured in California Gold with Huell Howser on PBS, however it was opened in the 1960's, and the owner Stan Berman closed it in 2020 due to Covid, and just passed away in February 2024 at 93 years of age.
they make better donuts so they are the real stans as far as im concerned
@@josemedeiros007I loved going to Stan’s in Westwood and getting blueberry old-fashioned glazed donuts!
Make sure to vote Dem!
What a great story.
After staging I kinda didn’t want to move! Fun job!
😅🙃😂😉
Great info. Trade in sounds the best.. non-contingent offer, have 90 days to sell the home.. don't have to firesale the home while in escrow for buy and sell. only 1.2 %.. is this homelight?
The background music is too loud!
Good intel, but why the bad loud music in the background?
Exactly! Also, the word "Staging" is said way too many times. You may want to write out a rough draft of a script to streamline and eliminate the over usage. It features more professional and polished. Just a suggestion
I’m a new dad, I moved closer to Santa Clara a few years ago and I’m thinking of purchasing a single family home there, but with real estate prices currently through the roof, is it still a good idea to buy a home or should I invest in stocks for now and just wait for a housing market correction? I heard Nvidia and AMD are strong buys.
it’s a personal decision, but according to Forbes, housing activities will remain stagnant for the most part of the year, so maybe hold off a little.
well you could put a downpayment on a home and as well diversify as much as you can into Ai and pharm. stocks like Pfizer and JnJ.
Certain Ai companies are rumoured to be overvalued and might cause a market correction, I’d suggest you go with a managed portfolio, but even those don’t perform so well, so it’s best you reach out to a proper fiduciary to guide you, that’s what works for my spouse and I making a whooping $738k in Q4 last year.
this is all new to me, where do I find a fiduciary, can you recommend any?
just browse Laura Grace Abels . Pretty simple with sophisticated looks but has empathy for her clients and takes you on if are ready to explore the business model she presents.
Best video ever made about a city. Thank you.
I don’t like stage homes I prefer buying with less furniture. I like to use my imagination. I’m buying the space not the staging
He is right about one thing, "OK it may not seem like much of a downtown, but Santa Clara's downtown was once a thriving". Yeah, it WAS, until city council members turned it into a housing Habitrail to stuff more and more people in. Then there is the 49's deal that ruined the natural historical feel of Santa Clara. The city I grew up in was once home to many cherry and apricot orchards and the timeless Corn Palace property now filled with high rise dense housing. Now they can't even take care of my other home, the International Swim Center, shutting it down suddenly and unexpectedly without warning to the Swim Club. I will never go back to visit.
Good examples
I've been going for 35 years, hands down, best donuts EVER! Treat for everyone else.
Lucky you, one day i’ll get to visit there and buy one.
Worshipped across the street at St. Justin’s for almost three decades. Visits to Stan’s were a joy! Love the photo of Olga with Diane!
but if u been going that long have u tried the other spots?
@@LuckyJackson2020 I have traveled over 36 countries and yes I have other donuts, nothing matched or worth mentioning.

Also why all these bathrooms for goodness sakes can’t you share?
I don’t find rooms of American ones cosy they cold open and I don’t want heating bill 😂 ♥️🇬🇧

@@JTBSnetwork thank you!
0:43 Shout-out to the Special Education department of this school by allowing Santa Clara High School to spend the $10 million dollar funds received per year meant for a full sized handicap bathroom with an adult changing table, full sized washer and dryer, a twin sized bed, a full sized family fridge, a stove, teachers per 13 students, teachers aids per 3 students, and one on ones. Instead of spending it on that, I think the special needs students are greatly enjoying the three trailers they're in by the pool with a copying machine and yoga ball, the new football jerseys made every few years for both JV and Varsity, the backpacks special made by Under Armor for the JV and Varsity boys basketball team, the new football field, the new and improved soccer field, the new counselors' office, the chromebooks issued to every students for homework and online classes, the new electronic school news sign, the solar panels above the student parking, the total rehauling and revamping of the entire school campus, the science wing's STEM program, as well as the two new murals painted of the Bruin bear and the mural along the outer gym wall.
Great video, very detailed. Excited to try Stan's for the first time this weekend!
