Very true, but I like my shadows pitch black, like clarososcuro. Gives it a more dramatic look.

Depending on the weather between 10 and 30 min, it gets really hot here in the summer and it can dry in 5 minutes. In winter though to get it really dry about 30 min. Before drybrushing I let it sit for a least a couple hours otherwise the previous layers can be scraped off if you are not carefull. Hope this helps :)

Thanks! Really appretiate it! Without drying times. The steps in the first and second video take about three hours. And according to the recorded footage, the last step took about five hours. The base is another two hours. Again without drying times. So that should be about ten.

You can, but the result is not the same and it takes a lot of effort, you would need to drybrush the miniature with grey only doing brushtrokes ina a downwards direction. This would be for the second step in the video, the third step would be identical and you could use regular painting with a brush for the fourth and last step.

Doing my slapchop always without airbrush. People say you could loose detail by applying the basecoat with a brush but that wasn't the case once with me. Use a fine brush to apply the basecoat and you're good to go....even fine chainmails won't get cluttered. Sure Zenithal Hightlights are impossible this way but you could try to emulate zenithal with drybrushing afterwards.

Yes you are correct, this first step is essential for the later ones to be easy and get great results with minimal effort. :)

Hi Leandro! Well for someone who has not dug into miniature painting and is starting out I would probably recommend one of the starting sets from GW where you can paint space marines. Regretfully it seems most of those sets are now only available by third parties and not GW. I would say if you have a hobby store you frequent pick up 3 to 4 basic paints, a couple brushes ( a detail one and a standard brush) get a space marine (not one with too much detail) and start there. Dont buy all your tools and once as they can be very expensive and some are grossly overcosted. instead of a plastic clipper buy a cheap cutting tool. Instead of an expensive water cup use an old cup from home. Probably the only thing I would recommend getting from the start is a cutting matt. Get a small one to begin with. and little by little expand your tool collection. Watch a lot of youtube tutorials for beginners and let the wisdom sink in. After that depending on your goal being it painting a single miniature for pleasure, trying to get an army painted for a torunament or trying to win the slayer sword the tools and techniques you use will vary. Try not to absorb all the knowledge at once as it will be overwhelmng. Hope this was of help to you and if you have any other questions feel free to ask! 🙃
