ZZZ and HSR are genuine gacha game...after all stuff done...it basic 5 min and off.... Genshin you can still occasionally listened to music and walk around with favourite characters so this make people expectations on gacha game different. Meanwhile ZZZ and HSR brings the genuine gacha game experience...not tedious and can play even when busy

I honestly liked star rail and ZZZ because they remind me of tales of arise but I came to like turn based games to even though I suck at health and defense management but I get through them and they are fun to me

Honkai Star Rail was relatively simple at first, but the complexity grows with each update. You can't say this game is simple just because there are only 3 buttons for each character. The game will only grow more complex. Limited choices of actions still restricts the options though.

Hi3 used to only have 4 buttons ..now its 5 ..or 6 already?

I don't really like the typical "attack first then the enemy does after" turn based game. Hence why Limbus Company is an exception at turn based combat, you don't act then the enemy act after, you both clash your attack together and the strongest attack wins the clash, they can initiate the attack.

But honkai star rail really blew up straight up After launch and the advertising campaign for the game was insane

The player agency in HSR and especially in ZZZ is very satisfying. There’s tools in the game that help you break the rules of the game itself. In HSR it’s being able to ult at any time or the I-frame abuse in ZZZ. If nothing else I’ve seen Hoyo present meaningful growth in the core formula and I doubt ZZZ will be any different. In comparison to WuWa Tower of Adversity just straight up sucks because it’s literally just a DPS and doesn’t need any strategy like MoC or in Shiyu. Illusive Realm is very fun but gets old super fast

the problem with hsr is the lack of content how can you have both so much to do yet nothing too? 3 endgames that reset every 2 weeks 4 gamemodes that are a quick month of content at most and dont reset auto farming minimal exploration what is there to do

Turn based game where i need to fight same fights over and over again its just big no for me. I can handle artifact grind as long as it is action based but grinding in turn based is definition of insanity. Yeah i know there is autobattle and stuff but looking at it feels like watching an uskipable add lol.

The reason i didnt like hsr was simply the fact that my brain would have to work ovetime to play it

What i didn't really like about the game when I first came ended up being my favourite. Whenever i played Genshin i would always be anxious and not want to fight the bosses. But now in Honkai Star Rail i can enter boss fights no problem since i know everything doesn't depend on my skill level but how well i can plan

This is true, but another truth is that at the time of writing this, as someone Inter rank 45, ZZZ does have a definite lack of endgame content.

Would still criticize HSR cuz it's turn based since I didn't grew up liking turn based games.

Hsr does add content the problem is this content is the same. New sim uni modes are just the same shit in a new fancy package it's stupidly boring. The game really just lives on a good story and a lot of free stuff for F2P.
