You need to download a bunch of drivers. Did you get any error messages?
@@murttheburt no it just goes to a black screen then kicks me back to the hunt menu. i used to be able to do it but then all the games stopped working I've tried rebooting my computer too

Murttheburt, do you have any free time, if you do , you can make addons mod dinosaurs addons mod is anseraptor remake , innovator remake , laelaps remake and final dinosaur is accurate stegosaurus weapons addons mod is heavy minigun from team fortress 2 , atchisson AA-12 and final weapon is pump action revolver shotgun this addons mod for carnivores 2 not carnivores modder's edition engine thank for reading murttheburt

In regards to thw stump tip, deep water also has the same effect. Or even better since Rexes are slower when swimming.
