Our God has indeed predicted what is going to happen in this world. God already knows the ending of this world. OMG…Thank you Lord for creating everything around us and “THANK YOU” for thinking of creating me! As a child I didn’t think too much of myself because I didn’t think I was pretty or smart. Then, my Mom told me who I was…a beautiful child of God and yes He made me smart. She told me “God don’t make no junk”! So what you can’t hear good…He made you where you can look at people in their mouths and read their lips! Then my oldest brother, Bill, came along and told me God made me just like Himself only a little girl who would one day grow up into a beautiful black woman! Tears rolled down my face but they were happy tears. God thought I was a beautiful little girl now woman and I thank my Mom and my oldest brother, Bill for loving me. Now I know that was God talking and loving me through my Mom and Bill! Ain’t God Awesome??!!! So yeah, I am Awesome with a capital “A”! I’ve enjoyed the word on today…Willful Blindness! I can certainly admit to standing by and not doing a thing to correct a situation. However, I’ve gotten the attention of other people who could help and I felt better about that situation being handled. Those times I’ve let those situations go unattended I felt some kind of way (guilty) only wishing I had listened to my conscious and should have done the right thing. I know…shoulda, coulda, woulda but then it’s too late and the damage is done. So, I learned to listen to my conscious, pray for guidance then do the right thing. Thank you Lord for removing those blinders from my eyes and listening to Your voice to do right. Thank you Sweetie for the word on today…Willful Blindness. I know the right thing to do and I thank The Lord for helping me listen and see them, then obey Him. I pray you and your family enjoy the rest of your day and be safe. Alright now, I am in agreement with you because we do have a job to do! All of us and if we be still and listen to His voice He will let His will be known. When I was 12 years old I saw the movie Helen Keller. By my being hearing impaired I thought I was to be a teacher for the deaf. Later on in High School I was introduced to a lady who taught sign language. Then, after graduation I attended Gaulledet College in DC. Later after I got married and began to travel with your Dad, I was able to work with deaf children. Was this my purpose in life?! If I am no longer working with deaf children or adults, do I have another purpose in my life?! Is it possible to have more than one purpose in life?! Well, I am still here and I will continue to do the Lord’s will until He comes or He will take me to my Heavenly Home. Either way I’ll be patience and wait on The Lord always trusting in Him. Thank you Lord for your guidance in my life. I will trust you and wait on you! Thank you Sweetie for the word on today…You got a job to do! And I won’t quit until it is done! When you are a people pleaser you have lost control of yourself, you think people are going to care and love you, they will talk about you behind your back and say what a terrible person you are, they will tell lies about you, and the worst lie they can tell you is “I’m your friend, trust me”. Yes, I think everyone has gone through that phase in life but as we learn to become children of God and study His words you learn to grow in a different way. What an awesome word on today’s in Psalm 27:1! Every day is a brand new day that we have NEVER seen before and it is by His Grace and Mercy He allows us to open our eyes! We should praise Him the minute our spirit stirs and with a smile on our face we say “Thank You Lord for one more day”! I am so happy when I wake up in the morning so much so I start singing a song in my head! 😊. I’ve gotten so I start singing old gospel songs from my childhood from my parents church in the country! I love the word on today…Growing. Growing in the knowledge of God is important because in the last days we need to seek Jesus while He may be found. We need to read and study our Bible, His words and let Him have His way with us. I’m so glad I have decided to pick up my Bible along with a devotional book and study guide with my Bible and study His words again. I remembered reading the Bible from cover to cover in my 30s and 40s and a lot of the things in the Bible weren’t clear to me. Now, I’m coming back to the word and praying and asking God to show me the understanding I didn’t have before but I saw Jesus working in my life and I know He is REAL! Thank you Lord for your patience along with your Grace and Mercy! Thank you Sweetie for leading me back home (The Bible) and although I have always prayed, I pray like never before! I love you and your beautiful family as y’all are always in my thoughts and prayers. Praying for Felton and Barbara knowing the Lord will keep them in His loving arms of protection. Wonderful word on today…Positive thinking! Lord, you know how your mind turn at the flip of a switch but we must learn to stay focused on our thoughts. There are times I would be praying and all of a sudden if you’re not careful your thoughts will stray and you’ll be thinking of something else! That’s why we must stay focused on the word of God and bring it to the forefront of our mind stayed on God. Thank you Lord for you know me and everything about me. I like today’s word…Block out the haters! As a child I got stunned a lot because I’m hearing impaired and my speech with some words were not clear. Thank God I had one classmate while at the Catholic school helped me and she understood me. We weren’t friends but she was nice to me and if I pronounced a word wrong she would kindly correct me and made sure I read her lips since I lipped read a lot growing up. It was later in my life people didn’t like me because I was different and always praying. Momma and Daddy would tell me to don’t pay attention to those people. Keep praying and praising God because He is your Best Friend and He loves you…always. Thank you Lord for keeping me and loving me even when I was lonely. A slave to Righteousness…a beautiful word on today! I love it and you’re so right about being a slave to sin…one is NEVER happy nor fulfilled! It only lead to EMPTINESS or dark hole (void)! I learned at an early age what you think you desire will not bring you joy especially material things. I remembered as a young teenager I wanted this radio that also served as a purse. It was so unique and no one else had one. When I finally got it the newest lasted only a few days. It was blue and white with an adjustable strap on it. After a few days the radio stations didn’t come in too good and I was lucky if I got 1 good station with a strong signal! Haha…what a joke then I wasn’t happy with it anymore. Can’t remembered what my parents paid for it but it was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Thank you Lord that everything shiny gold isn’t shiny gold. One thing that is real is YOU! And that is the only thing in this world that matters…YOU! Thank you Sweetie for the word on today…A slave to Righteousness. Oh yes, faith without work is indeed dead. This is an awesome topic today because your Big Daddy used to talk to me about doing or putting in the work along with believing in what I want to receive. I always believed so I began to do the work and boy, I would be rewarded for sure! Then I understood what it meant…Faith without work. My example was in elementary school the nun would give us a spelling test every Friday. Well, I thought nothing of it because I didn’t think I had to write those words 5 times and then memorized it for the test. Little did I know I wasn’t writing those words and I would pray “Dear God help me pass my spelling test today, Amen”! Well, you know the nun would call me up after class and ask me did I study those words. I told her I would write them down 5 times but I didn’t understand she was asking me did I study, memorized the words without looking at them…well, my “lightbulb” came on 😂! The following week I made a 100 on my test! The nun was so proud of me as I was so glad to get a good grade 😂!! So, Thank you Lord for putting my Dad and my teacher in my path to understanding faith without work don’t cut it! Thank you Sweetie for the reminder that we must do our part along with believing because if we don’t put 2 and 2 together we won’t get 4 and that’s for sure! Oh I love listening to the word on today! Yes, Satan is very real but we can keep him at bay by praying and worshiping our Heavenly ABBA Father, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit! Yes, keep close to our God and the devil will flee…he can’t take it! Our God is powerful! Thank you Lord for keeping us out of harm’s way. Lucifer might have been beautiful and in charge of worshipping but he lost it all due to pride.
