I think this happens when you begin to cut n then get the passed thrown your way. I never shoot it afterwards though once I take that dribble n my team will still flame me for passing up on it.

I plead the fifth on this. I’m the type to box out my man or the opp big to setup my C for the easy board. Don’t get it twisted if I’m open in the corner or wing and a partner take a crazy contested 3 I gotta run back on defense because you know someone is leaking.

Our community is one of the worst in any online game I played...to much toxicity..I remember I start the other time 0.3 and they didn't give me the ball for like 20 minutes 😂last 5 min I stared to hit ..after I took all the time outs so they guve me the ball😂

When I play random with my pf...it's been like 15 min and I don't get never the ball..only like 2.3 last seconds when they don't know what to do...even if my center take the d reb and I like run all alone under the basket they don't give the ball...random rec is really difficult..I have pg sf pf and you can't play nothing ...most of pg have 90 plus 3 and dribble dribble shoot ...centers dribbles thinking they are jokic

This is why I main PF when playing rec because I lose or have too many unessessary close games cause the other team's PF is grabbing the same amount of rebounds (or more) to their center and gets so many second chance opportunities to score. It's a huuuuuuge 2k pet peeve when I see PFs run the break everytime and not have a care in the world to secure a boxout. Some games the guards are always willing to assist for boxouts even when their matchup isn't crashing for o board, and they'll end up having more rebounds then my own PF teammate 🤦‍♂️.

What you're saying is absolutely no doubt about it. I hate that the 2k community has come to this. Nevertheless, let's really also point out the fact that the only people who get frustrated by this happening is the guards who dash down court to get an easy bucket from expecting their bigs to grab the board and outlet to the guards cherry picking. Also the Center gets frustrated cus he has no help from the PF on boards. But, let's be real of what the 2k community has done with all these builds these days. There are so many centers these days with low rebounding attributes also. Everyone these days from the 1 - 5 positions mainly make an offensive build with as lil defense or no defense as possible. Everyone just cares about an offensive build. This is why playing with Randoms is the worst experience in 2k. The worst 🤦‍♂️

Ayo, i have a Playmaking Defensive Anchor(87 Dunk).. The dude can't shoot, but he could catch up with to 5 o boards and 10-20 defensive rebounds per game. I'll have guards that'll shoot 2-7 from deep mad asf at me... Why did you make a build that can't shoot? They're double teaming me. You're man paint sitting... Bruh, it's the 3rd... I have HOF breakstarter(93 passing), I'm hitting you guys wide open on fast breaks and yall bricking... If yall would've made 90% of the wide open 3's, we would've been up

Bro as a C all I can say is HELP on rebounds. I like to go for blocks and when there's a second rebounder it's always an offensive board.

A lot of teams run a shooting big and rebounding guards. The PF is def needed to rebound. You out a shooting center at top of key it’s almost impossible to challenge and crash. Gotta give up one.

Totally agree! They think its just a "do whatever you want with it position". In random rec you should just play whatever position they put you in even if its not preferred. Anyone can get a boxout so even if they have low rebound its not an excuse to just run away all game.
