I chose to be better and with God’s help I was a better father than I had. Though never without flaws as the Bible says. “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” The pay off is now I get to help raise my 5 grandchildren and #6 on the way! 🤠

The story is so incredible! I have an Amish background myself, although my parents left the Amish before I was born and joined a very conservative Beachy Amish Mennonite group. My husband has been disabled in a wheelchair for 40 years, and I cannot fathom how you embarked on that journey to Colorado and stayed there without getting your own things back home! Just incredible how the Lord was leading every step of your way! I know this is months after this video was posted so this may not be seen, but how did you get a house and funding and living expenses for all that time your husband was ill, and after you got to Colorado? Did your mother stay to help?
