    I would not diminish Art Blakely's contribution to jazz ,one bit ,he is not hear to say who really was on first base with the permances of this extradinary recordings and not to diminsh Mr. Donaldson's history at all .

    Funny like i fell in love with both Sullivan and Cécile in the same week (him with Peter Bernstein I think), then discovering them as musical partners, and sentimental ones too. Both amazing original artists, without a doubt my favourite contemporary singer and pianist ❤ separately and together

    Rick Beato just released great new interview at Keith's house and it shows listening in his living room. Keith sits in the very middle between speakers. Anyone know what speakers they are in that interview ? You only get a brief look at the top of the left speaker, over Keiths shoulder.

    That business with him standing behind you with arms folded sounds as if it were meant to intimidate. Keith looks and acts like an irritable music teacher more than anything. Any disruption, however faint, among the class...I mean, audience...will result in his thumping the lid down and demanding to know who made that noise and if they fancy a week of detentions. "We're not going on with the lesson...I mean concert...until the offender stands up".
