There are a lot of interesting setups, but for a Mario level, it seems too laser-focused on the strict platforming. Usually having some strict maneuvering feels really cool to pull off since Mario levels are pretty open ended and leave room for newcomers while having a high-skill ceiling, but having it be nonstop can make it frustrating for the player, especially when the level can be so dense and linear. Loved the exploration aspect of the level, it builds a huge world with a story, but it feels like no matter where you are, the challenges are the same instead of changing to fit the environment.

I have to say even with Super Mario Bros Wonder being out. I always love New Super Mario Bros Series modding, and I always will contine to be in the amazing world of it, because even with the new DLC in Super Mario Maker 2 and mods for Super Mario Maker 1 it just doesn't compare to this absolutely brilliant level of creativity. Not to mention, you can do things here that you don't even have access to do or just literally can't do in other games. Such as having the timer be frozen, having Custom Backgrounds, plus you get to have the Super Leaf in here too! Now granted you could in Mario Maker but only if you used the Super Mario Bros 3 Style and that's a shame. I truly love the New Super Mario Bros Series (NSMBDS, NSMBWii, NSMB2, & NSMBU) Custom Levels and the Modding Community. It is absolutely spectacular to see what the fans can come up with and create even transcending the Level design from within the actual Nintendo Games. I plan to keep being a part of this absolutely phenomenal community for many years to come. This community is so amazing, it keeps inspiring me every single day, and brings so much life and vibrancy as well. It's just as true as ever, the fans do what Nintendo doesn't do!

Out of all the YI backgrounds you recreated, the smiling hills background is easily the best looking one. All of them look amazing tho. This one just stands out to me the most.

Yoshi's Forest with No Yoshis at All. Still tho, good level. Nicely designed.

This is absolutely phenomenal in every way. I love the atmosphere of the forest with that amazing SMRPG and YI soundtrack. The level design is fantastic, I like how different and unique each level part feels in comparison to the others. Also the backgrounds feel extremely well included into NSMB2's style for originally being based on Yoshi's Island, neat! The only thing (I can think of) that you could possibly add would be a few more of those (2:14) tree background elements unique to NSMB2, I feel like they went really underused in the original game. Otherwise.. awesome work, keep it up! Really looking forward to the full mod :)
