Good day mate, cheers from indonesia 🇮🇩. Im trying to build a Budget KE70 fun Daily Drift Project, Your Video helps me a lot. And Do you mind if I Ask you a few Question? 1. Can I have the thickness of the Rack Spacer? I’m running a stock Rack Steer from KE70 2. And Can I know the Part number for the KYB Excel G Front Short Shocks, Currently im still using a Stock KE70 Front Shocks, What will fit the stock strut tube? Thankyou, Looking forward for your videos! Cheers!
Curious to chat more about this as I am looking at doing my own. Is there anywhere that I can dm you?
Good to see some one from South Australia where abouts are you from
Really old people had cassette tapes Ha Ha.
Ohhh nice. My new car just yells at me in Japanese and has some weird Japanese rock music

Good work! love that build!
pretty wild combo with the new motor and box
Wicked vid, Would love to know the specs of this car, transmission gear ratios, final drive ratio, engine hp etc. Torn between keeping my 4age or chucking a beams (which I already have) into it.
I could always do an in-depth spec video if you would like that I personally have an AE86 I love a good 4age they are great motors! BUT my car also runs a beams and honestly it's the perfect motor for the AE86. With a set of ITBs they will make 135 RWKW with loads of mid range from the VVTI.
Great effort. Beautiful work by all.
so much more went into getting this going than what I was able to film, massive effort by everyone involved.
What a beast of a car. Very nice fellas
hopefully bring home a few trophy's with it
Looks awesome dude!!
@@foxarocka Thankyou I’m very happy with it, of course still so much to learn when it comes to modelling and painting.
Love the way you go into details Timmy keep up the good content mate. Keep it coming.❤

Do u happen to know what the distance is between the mounting hoals for the motor mounts on the chassis/subframe??
Aidaaaan!!!!! Amazing Man! Well done coach Tim also.
Just finished ordering the parts I need for my toyota 4k
Measure, Measure, Measure and Measure again. Fit all parts and have weight on the suspension. Otherwise you will not like the final fit.
thanks ill keep all this in mind
If someone is wanting to build something similar, but can't afford the transaxle, I got something for you which I presume is a whole lot cheaper, even in AUS/NZ. You can use an Audi B4 or B5 transaxle since the engine is longitudinally mounted in the car, but it powers the front wheels. You could essentially take a complete A3/A4 1.8T drivetrain from the engine bay, put it behind the driver and you'd have a mid engined race car. That engine can handle quite a bit of boost and the gearbox can take up to 500hp with stock internals. But if we're being completely bananas, how about a Porsche 911 drivetrain stuck in the front of a space frame chassis? It would be a mid engined, front wheel drive car like the NISMO GT-R LM race car. Run the Flat-6 on a dry sump system and mount it as low as it can possibly go. You'd have one of the smallest frontal areas which is good for low drag coefficient and being FWD, gives you ample room for ground effects underneath the car increasing downforce, but with a much lower drag penalty than having external wings or canards. No driveshafts from the rear going into the Venturi tunnels either.
That car is awesome, it's power level is crazy. So because it likes to spin as soon as it gets any power, I would either electronically limit torque output, or add ballast. Maybe be extremely careful on power would work too!
Bit of a weird one but next time youre under the car can you sus the mounting plate where the centre bearing is and let me know if it has 5lk and an arrow pointing towards the diff?
Also another one is that bobtail spoiler a later model style?
Where do they buy the F1 parts from?
cool cars man. Adelaide has a lot of them hey?
It’s a cool scene I really enjoy it lots of great cars and people
Where did you get them from? or do you sell them?
Joy supply check them out on IG
Just recently started working on a toyota 4k to see if it will go again and eventually rebuild it and put if in something
Man this is like the guy, saved all his cash for DFX's and a dogbox crazy
Somtimes you just have to live life
KL V6 is extremely underrated engine
I have been impressed with it so far
Cool video. Glad you got to have a drive. Car looks mental. Awesome project and innovation. Couldn't help but notice the welds on the RHS upper control arm @ 10:32 though 😬 Pretty sure you and I have the same welder from Tokentools and I saw you doing another vid teaching some young fellas how to GTAW. Great work. Might be worth checking those welds (NDT) I mentioned, as that car is going to put a lot of force on them. It has to be primo for safety, which is the only reason I mention it.
Wait for the round 2 video … 😬

❤️
To be fair, the car was way over-powered for that "race track." Try it on a proper race track, if one is available. Progress slowly until you know the brakes & steering are working well.
It is a little extreme for this track but that’s half the fun
@@secondstage4272 watching inspires me to try a build.
Need to see more of that front-engine formula car. I love front engine, it's the "natural" placement, after all.
sick wagon
Thanks! I need to make more time to work on it
What game is that
Asseto corsa with mods
man that thing needs a hans device ! it saves lives like a lot of deaths could have been prevented with it. thats dope tho! its a safety thing and you both seem like a great dudes ! dont want anything to happen. a mid mounted engine can be in the front too it has to be after the wheels like that one car was. the de tomaso mangusta ( mongoose) it was supposed to be better then a 454 cobra because mongooses eat cobras but was never put in to production
We definitely runs a HANS device you can see me taking it off with my helmet
@@secondstage4272 great sorry to make a big deal about it ! Great stuff
Nice of the local radio controlled car club to let you use their track for the day
Ha ha best comment! It really does feel like that
A whole lot of chatting!
Yeah but it’s chatting in a shed so it’s ok
Your mate Roy has got a 350 Victories Good Year poster! Rather rare.

I got something similar in my shed being revamped. The SA engineering is special to say the least . Got to love collingrove.
@petergracemeguide1280 anyone else remember Elfin racecars from out near Mallala , they were beautiful and fast, Gotta love what a couple of petrolheads in a tin shed can achieve
Very cool! Definitely get it out to the hill in the future
Hey mate any dramas not using a jig/alignment bar? Thinking of doing full floater on my car myself
@@PaniqueGarage no real dramas but an alignment bar would have been a better way to do it for sure

Way late but loved the video as im from the area and love the event. Only thing I have to say is pretty please turn down the music when you've commentating and when the car is thrashing. My 50 yr old ears love to know what's going on and hearing an engine on song Thanks mate!
I was trying my best at story telling especially with the music selection, but ill note it for the future thanks
