¿have you seen in the Sharpy 2R by Alien that for the color wheel the channel 1 the values from 0-5 work well, and also the ones from 192 to 255. so that the wheel can spin properly at different speeds and also can stop, but the range between 6 to 191 doesn't work, so that specific color are not being set, not even using the controls embedded in the head functions (i mean, even with no dmx control). i checked the hall sensor and it's great, signal is arriving perfect to the controller at the board. Then there's continuty in wires of the stepper motor of color wheel as well. so.. spinning the wheel works, but making some few steps doesn't.. it looks like software issue instead, but, ¿did you eve see this problem, or this is the way how my lightbeam model should work? thanks for answer

I used the same exact grease for my 2000 nxs2 with perfect results, but searching online, some people said that lithium grease can decrease rubber lifespan (i mean greasing the little white bearings with the black rubber) what about this thing ?

Great video! I am incredibly "lazy" so after seeing how the encoder worked and all of the effort to clean the interior I chucked up electrical tape in my drill and applied light pressure to the knob. The goal here was to spin the knob at high RPM to create friction between the encoder contacts without damaging the knob itself. After 10-15 seconds I stopped and tested the knob. GOOD AS NEW! Even if you replace the encoder... grease will inevitably penetrate as opening the door sends a cloud of non-conductive vapor into the housing. Its a poor design all around. I don't mind, I nabbed my oven from a thrift store for $13.98 due to this poorly placed encoder! Tack switch is still gummy but I think a shot of brake-clean under the knob and some aggressive button presses will take care of it. Cheers!

Both of mine were shot too. Not rusted just rubber disintegrated. Tip…loosen sway bar attachments on chassis so jacking up bar is not needed. Mark before loosening don’t don’t slide too far in either direction

We are getting terrible “grinding” noises. We contacted the company and they said these are “gear noise” and they all have that noise. But now it’s getting worse. So ordered a second pair just to see and they also have the terrible “gear noise” right out the box. Have you encountered this?
