Do you think it would be possible to show us the actual cage... If the grip is on the camera....
Please put out more videos ❤
The title of this video is misleading…
Boring talking head
clickbait
Thank you!
There a way to use this to attach my camera to an arm from the top, like I would from the bottom? I have my Sony a7c attached to a podcast mic arm from the bottom above my monitor. I’d like to hang it down from the top so I can have it right in front of my monitor
Ouch, it is terribly noisy.
Dude… is this a troll vid? You trollin for likes when you uploaded it?
Also, watching this vid is essentially useless on a cell phone, whereas if you did the tests sequentially I’d get more value
You move your head way too much
Would the rode video mic NTG work with this set up?
I'm going to my first WPPI this year (2024) and I'm only gonna sit in on the business classes.
What's the name of the track
Can I connect 1 microphone by hot shoe and second by mini-jack? Splitter won't work because microphones are stereo and I want record 4 channels on Sony FX30 is it possible?
Great review, thanks 😃 I'm still looking for a (mini) mixer that can works with my 2 different types audio source: a powered mic (Synco 3M) and another is non powered mic (7Ryms Minbo mini). From some info I got so far, non powered mixer will not work with the non powered mic, and the powered mixer, understandbly, far more expensive (two channel powered mixer can three times more expensive).
Me too here for tips on echoey sound, man you are not helpful, but thanks anyway.
Anyone following this advice - if you get a headphone extension cable make sure it’s NOT a standard headphone cable as suggested. A standard headphone extension won’t have mic. You need the three stripe one that supports audio and mic input.
I don't find... "I have a green screen" under Virtual Backgrounds on my phone.
I have the Manfrotto 290 Xtra and I want to take pictures of galaxy what can I do
Wasted my time! There's nothing in here about fixing the echoey sound. Dislike!
The third shoe mount might be for a light 🤔🤔 thank you for making this video! Very helpful!
You spent 90% of the video showing the guy talking. Why not show more of the rig so we can SEE what he's talking about?
does it tilt all the way for portrait photography ?
Good job. Happy shooting!
Te echaste un rollo Kristian, sin que abordaras el titulo de tu video. What about fixing the echo sound?
when your monitor is the same size as your camera's LCD screen LOL
I was so under the gone to solve THIS EXACT PROBLEM! Thank you so much!
Exactly what I was looking for! 👏🏻
I had bought the VidPro unit then discovered that while it has 2 mics on top, it only puts a mono signal to the camera, stereo to headphones, but the worst was I plugged in my two Shure mics and as I inserted one of the jacks I heard a crunch and the socket inside was wobbly... I took the back cover off and could see this narrow circuit board the socket was mounted on had broken in half! So I ordered a Saramonic PAX1, the PAX2 only had a mount to attach to the bottom of the camera and I have the cam on a tripod always, so the PAX1 seems ideal and has controls for each mic separately. I needed this model as my mics are not condensor mics, the PAX1 takes a battery or phantum power; Phantom Power: for XLR jacks: 48V power supplies for 1/8" (3.5 mm) jacks: 5V power supplies Power Requirements: 9 V alkaline or lithium battery (Not included) Going to see if they will refund on the VidPro because I only had it 4 weeks and a mic socket should never just BREAK by inserting the jack into it! I sort of remember years ago buying an Emerson video player and the first time I unplugged the RCA cable on the back to move it- the socket pulled right out of the case- just another flimsy poor design like the socket on the VidPro
Thanks
Thanks for the info! I'm just starting to get into the TH-cam channel thing and do not know much of anything about cameras and setups. So any little pro tip info like this helps me a lot! Using that little mixer seems quite simple, straight forward, affordable, and it's not too bulky of a setup. I like it!!!
Too much load music mate. You don't need to have music all over the video
talks too much and not go to the tutorial. waist of time.
Great stuff. My name is Damon. Live in Las Vegas pre launch limousine podcast.with live feed . Type of equipment needed. built in wifi.
When he talks about something, we need to see what he's talking about. I got halfway through the video but couldn't quite see the rig. Please don't take my comment negatively. It's rare content, so I wanted to give some input for improvement.
What is the bag
Hi. Thanks for the info. I would like to record 2 lavs to my canon 80D. I have the saramonics mixer you're using and two rodelink tx/rx's. Can I get both lavs to record into the camera and adjust each lav's input separately? Thanks
Does kamerer also make the lens support and follow focus?
I used to use a folding Green Screen. I would use a backdrop screen that I preferred. Until one day when I accidently Unclicked it - to discover that I did not need to use a folding Green Screen anymore ! Much later, on calls I would be told about the haze/stretch when I moved. I could not tell what had caused it. This clip helped. I will be getting back to the Green screen as I think the disappearance on movements will be lesser. Thanks there !
Sahi hai
Unbelievable! You did a talking head video about rigging a camera and only showed the rig 10% of the time?!
Sorry daddy... I do better next time
exact same thought
I do not know how to get rid of the green outline. With the green outline, having a green screen does not seem to make that much of a positive difference for me.
I use the same mic
Please show more of the rig and less head shots of you
Oh I totally agree. When I made this a couple years ago, I was definitely more into the vlogging scene and treating this more as entertainment than a formal tutorial. Luckily that phase has passed in my life.
Hello! is it possible to use blue screen instead?
Hi- Thanks for this. I have 2 lav mics and 1 boom mic, and I recently purchased the Rode SC11 TRS splitter cable. How do I make sure all the sounds are merged together into stereo in post? Or is there a specific setup I need to use on the Rode Wireless Go 2 (.e.g. 2 monos vs merge setting) before I shoot?
Super helpful! I could not work out how to get the camera straight while using the boom arm! Omg had never thought to position it over the legs- totally makes sense 🤦🏼♀️ Thank you!
very informative video for people like me, who wear glasses everyday. Thank you for this!
Rambling.
