What kind of truck does drive
He drives a beautiful 379, 2005, Pete.
Enjoyed that! I was a shipper that he would pick up at.When our company folded I went to drive at Big Freight partly because of his example. Was never sorry with that decision. Good to see he is still going strong .
That’s a great story! It’s clear Tiny has made a real impact on those around him. Glad to hear his example played a role in your decision. he’s definitely someone to look up to!

11000 miles a month isn’t much
.....There's always that one guy that HAS to say "thats nothing, I do 18,000 miles a month for 13 months a year and only stop for poops and paychecks!".....c'mon man! Averaging 11000miles a month over 15yrs for the same company is definitely an accomplishment! Good luck out there!🤙
@@tankkellytruckingwell it’s not 🤷🏼♂️

Hi Pedro , I enjoyed the interview with Joanie. It was cool that her husband Ben was able to help her obtain her class 1. I liked how Joanie kept her snacks out of reach and she would have to pull over to get them. Smart idea. Thanks for the interview Pedro.
Thanks for your feedback! It’s great to hear you enjoyed Joanie’s interview. Her approach to keeping snacks out of reach is definitely a smart idea-little things like that can make a big difference on the road. Stay tuned for more!

Great video ~ Andy is awesome if i do say so myself
He's a great guest, we're glad to have him on the show. Thank You for watching :)
I'm from Arkansas USA and Josh was first blogger i met. Way back I took hazmat totes from Mexico to Saguenqy QC and the lady didn't know English well and I didn't know French so we both communicated in what broken Spanish we both knew. Lol Like y'all said, we are All more similar different!!!
What a great story! It’s amazing how resourceful people in the trucking industry can be when it comes to communication. You’re absolutely right-we’re all more alike than we are different. Thanks for sharing that experience!
You guys have a good thing going. But some of your drivers are filthy and some really impatient.
Thanks for your feedback. We’re always striving to uphold high standards and will take your comments into consideration as we work to improve. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts.
Andy is awesome!!! I love his videos on his channel!

Big big fan of Andy's channel, I feel theres more worse coming in the industry than good unfortunately
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for being a fan of Andy’s channel! The industry is facing challenges, but conversations like these can help bring awareness and spark solutions. Stay tuned for more discussions on the podcast!
Hi Pedro , I'm enjoying the podcast. It was cool having Andy the Kenworth guy on. I learned a lot. Pedro , if I can throw some constructive criticism your way; in your intro of your guest , your reading from a script when introducing your guest. Your overview of your guests bio introducing them should come across more from your memory rather than a script. Looking down at your notes for key highlights of your guests should be more of a glance rather than reading sentence by sentence. Thanks for the show.
Thanks for the feedback and for tuning in! I’m glad you enjoyed Andy’s episode-he brought some great insights. Hosting is a new thing for me, and I’ve always been more comfortable behind the camera, so I’m still finding my flow. I’ll definitely work on making the introductions more natural. I really appreciate constructive input like this as we keep improving the show!
@keystonewestern Hey Pedro , thanks for the reply. I was thrust into a position of public speaking for a world famous hotel and it was there someone shared the advice with me of not reading for my notes. I quickly found out that it took me a lot of prep work to learn about my guests or speaking engagements around the world to master ditching the line by line reading. I wanted to share with you the advice that was given to me. You will be fine man. I'm enjoying each interview you do. Thank you for the podcast. Jorge
Everyone loves new truck videos from "Andy the Kenworth Guy". Andy does a fantastic job of of spec-ing a truck inside and out. Great interview Pedro.
Thanks for the kind words! Andy really knows his stuff when it comes to trucks, and it was a pleasure having him on the show. Glad you enjoyed the interview!
I don't need your services, however, thank you for your dedication to the trucking industry. My knowledge of your company is thru Trucker Josh's videos and the info he shares. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the kind words and support! We’re glad Trucker Josh’s videos help share what we’re all about. we appreciate your encouragement for the industry and our team!

I love trucker Josh TH-cam channel
Trucker Josh’s channel is fantastic! We’re glad to have him as part of the podcast. Thanks for supporting his work!
i.ve been a subscriber to josh on you tube from his very beginning. I have said on many occasions that josh is an inspiration to every up and coming truck driver. His channel goes in depth about load safety. weight distribution. trailer and vehicle checks. the list goes on. As josh stated truck driving is classed as an unskilled worker yet we are classed as professional drivers
It’s amazing to hear how long you’ve been following Josh’s journey! He truly sets a great example for aspiring truck drivers and highlights the skill and professionalism it takes to be in this industry. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
Trucking need to be recognized as a trade nationwide. Way too easy to get the CDL. I did a 5 months professional training in Quebec's CFTR school, which is a provincial government school. I think other provinces are looking at Quebec's model to modify their minimum training requirement to get a CDL. As You say, this is very dangerous. I feel I got a good training (started truck driving in feb 2024), but I (still) apprehend the winter's coming.
Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s great to hear about the comprehensive training you received in Quebec-it sounds like a strong model for improving safety and professionalism across the industry. Winter driving can definitely be challenging, but it sounds like you’re well-prepared. Stay safe out there!
Very articulate, Josh. You are a natural and Keystone should find more ways to use your talents.
Thanks for the kind words! Josh really does have a natural way with words. We’re definitely lucky to have him, and we’ll keep looking for ways to showcase his talents!
Great interview Josh. I learned a lot about the trucking world. Thanks
So glad you enjoyed it! Josh has a way of making the trucking world come alive, and we’re grateful you took the time to listen.
In Driver's Ed we are only taught to think about stopping distance for cars. Really they should include the information about trucks on the road as well. It's a safety issue for everyone. Thank you to all the truckers as we all depend on you to our food and other goods. Stay safe
You’re absolutely right-understanding truck stopping distances is so important for road safety. Thank you for your thoughtful comment and for recognizing the hard work truckers do to keep us all supplied. Stay safe out there, too!
Trades have safety protocols
You're absolutely right! Just like in any trade, safety protocols are crucial to ensuring everyone’s well-being on the job. It’s something we all need to prioritize to keep our workplaces safe.
I'm 68 and have been following Josh almost from the beginning. Watched the brake downs flat tires getting hit in truck stops. When his fuel jelled and he and Diesel had to a hotel in Sib zero temps and many other adventures. I gotta admit I first started watching because of diesel but then that Josh grew on us. Some may not understand but Josh gave Diesel a voice and sometimes they would talk back and forth. Kinda like Jeff Dunham with his puppets. Latter on when he married Britt she had a wiener dog and then they got another wiener called commander and then a big mix lab? Named Chevy. All the dogs have there own voice. It's funny how he can keep the right voice with the right dog. I watch for the day commander gets Chevys voice. Lol It's a unusual vlog but you get hooked. Now he and Britt Theo both there moms and dads and sisters now are like extended family. Like when Josh's dad was in the hospital with fauchi ouchy. We were praying for his recovery. Family.
Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt comment! Josh, Diesel, and the whole crew have definitely built a special bond with their followers, and it’s amazing to hear how much their journey has resonated with you. From the adventures to the voices for the dogs, it’s clear that they’ve created a unique connection with their audience. We’re grateful for your support and the sense of family that’s been built along the way!
Gotta get Andy the Kenworth guy on the pod.
