Why not used Heat sink for the ic7805 ?
It is advisable to use a heat sink with the LM7805
I have a problem where cura won’t let me update it, whenever I hit update it just takes me to a page talking about the update with a link to a thingiverse cup model, where there is no actual update button

Hi. Where is the 24V in input?😐 I have a circuit whit 24V input. And in the circuit we need 5V for atmega8 microcontroller. And designer used lm7805. Is it impossible? ( Convert 24V to 5V by lm7805 regulator?😶

My suggestion is to use fuse. Because it is a safety feature.

Power dissipation can be quite high(close to 19W) if 1A load current is flowing....switching regulator would be best for this much voltage difference.... 😌
do you have some valid schematic to share? im also using this and the heat is too high, i had to put in heatsink. 24v to 5v
using voltage regulator (78**) is inefficient with that huge voltage difference.

And after it's finished, I get an error. Maybe I need to do something different because I want to install 5.1.1 but I don't know what. It would be great if you could help me

Yes, it can able to power arduino uno, nano,& mini with out problem.But use heat sink for cooling the MOSFET.
