I saw the Glitter Band at the Sports Centre, Basingstoke in September 1974, they were fantastic! I was 14.

61 years old now, and if I were asked to clap my hands like one of them said, it would traumatize the arthritis in my hands. The 1970s was the ultimate time to be a teenager. Shame, though, that the BCR were here, then gone in a flash. I remember being at an amusement park in my state, maybe 1979. I was walking past one of those booths where you throw something to win a prize. I overheard a girl, about my age, telling another person how much she loved the Bay City Rollers. My first thought was, are they even still around? Disco came soon after, and I believe with some talented song writers, the BCR might have had a disco hit (s). I don't see why not.
