Commentary (Contains Spoilers) Calm Prelude (0:00 - 0:21) is included neither in the original song nor the movie itself. This part is meant to represent the flashbacks of the love and interactions between Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne throughout the entire Gundam SEED series (C.E. 71 to 75), including these words said by Lacus, "Neither will alone, or strength alone, will be enough" when she gifted the X10A Freedom Gundam to Kira. This reflects the story of Gundam SEED of romance within war and the fact that it has far more flashbacks than other Gundam series. Arise (0:21 - ) represents the epic stance after the formation of the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam in the middle of the final battle where Lacus joins Kira to end the war. The awakening and hopeful climax are represented by the rising crescendo, the spiritual choir, the timpani, and the loud cymbal. Later, the fluttering and ascending woodwinds represents freedom itself (like a flying bird) and the Gundam, and the enchanting purple-gold scattering particles are represented by the shimmering mark tree (chime bells) and the glockenspiel. Verse 1 and Chorus (0:57 - ) represent the hope and excitement when the Freedom Gundam appears in the chaotic battle like an immortal existence, the process of bringing an end to the battle/war. However, it is mostly recycled from the short version. The brass used for the melody gives a heroic feel, supported by the drums and cymbals, the harp and choir give a hopeful feeling, and the fluttering woodwinds show Freedom Gundam freely flying and floating in the sky or space, giving its dynamic over the battlefield. When it is almost to the first chorus, it already gives a sense that the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam uses its electric burst against the enemies in space, just like when Freedom Gundam uses its HiMAT Full Burst in the sky. Verse 2 and Bridge (2:04 - 3:19) show the situation on the other side of the battlefield where Shinn Asuka and his Destiny Gundam Spec-II fight against the Rud-ro.A Squadron, alongside the other battleships fighting in the background. In a slight desperation for one against four where the dynamic gets softer and the main melody used by the oboe, 2:40 gives a sense of another awakening where Shinn reveals and uses all his battle potential to counter the enemies where the dynamic gets much louder and the instruments chant together in unison. The bridge part brings up all the epicness and excitement to represent Destiny Gundam Spec-II's perfectly executed final battle fight. Chorus 3 (3:19 - 3:47), executed by the mark tree and calm strings, shows how beautiful and sacred the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam is, along with its scattered particles. Then it continues the epic battle for Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam to end this war, with a strong sense of epicness, hope, and freedom. Ending (3:47) is where the war finally ends with calming peace with the defeat of Foundation, executed by only the soft piano and mark tree. At the very end, Kira and Lacus finally get to live happily ever after, with the orchestral support of glockenspiel and strings. Note that in the actual movie, the final battle does not end with this song. And Athrun is an indecent fantasy. Not worth mentioning.

I think I accidentally made a controversial reply chain on one of the Japanese comments, so I am here to clear things out. If you have not watch the movie yet, note that this comment may have spoilers, even when I try to minimise them. This arranged piece is called "Meteor (Marcus Mo Orchestral Cover) (Mighty Strike Freedom ver.)", an orchestral cover of the song "Meteor" by T.M.Revolution, made to represent the Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam itself (along with Destiny Gundam Spec-II's battle result) at the very climax point of the final battle of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM. This is not an official orchestration but is an orchestral version made by me. This is made before me entering the cinema for the film, but it had been told that by the viewers who went to Japan for the film that "Meteor will play after the docking into Mighty Strike Freedom" and the outstanding results of Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam and Destiny Gundam Spec-II, and I have done what I can to picture the very ending of the climax. The very front part (0:00 - 0:25) is neither included in the original song and the movie itself. This part is meant to represent the flashbacks of the love and stuff between Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne throughout the series, including those words said by Lacus, "Neither will alone, or strength alone, will be enough." when she gifted the Freedom Gundam to Kira. If I remember correctly, the movie do not use the full song in the final battle. Also the reason this orchestration has a calmer and peaceful ending is because they finally bring an end to the war against Foundation, with Kira and Lacus being together happily.
