I used to work at the Hilton hotel back in 1975. It was the ANCHORAGE WESTWARD back then. I worked in the maintenance department. I rented a room from a very nice lady, Alma Hicks, in her home at 700 West 2nd Avenue, just a short walk to the hotel. I fell in love with Alaska during my time in the Army at Fort Rich and I especially loved Anchorage. This video brought back a lot of wonderful memories. THANK YOU!!!

I was stationed at Fort Rich from April 1972 to August 1974 with CHARLIE AIRBORNE, 1/60. So many changes since I was there. I appreciate your video!!!

Wherever she, and her Family, may be these days I wish them a JOYOUS CHRISTMAS SEASON filled to overflowing with love, laughter, happiness and good health.

I was at ft. rich 80's 1/37 f.a.! it was cold but the army had decent cold weather gear!!

This vid makes me feel things. I used to live on that base around 2008-2011 as a kid and I used to sled on that hill with my family. Those were happy times, thank you for this video.

Hey lady thanks for this wonderful music and video of Anchorage. Just visited Barrow en route Anchorage downtown and midtown. I loved the slower pace of the environment, scenry and even air is fresher. Met some nice locals i got stuck in the middle of hiking route half way to Hilltop Ski Area. Kind enough to gave me a ride to Ted Steven Airport. Some patrol security guys at the hospital on Tudor were however very inconsiderate, very rude to the visitors and knowing i am here to visit and possibly getting medical care. Hey Alaska i missed you i might be back just one or two rude people in Alaska doesnt change my perception about the land. Fresh air, nature, wild life and free of sales tax.

I just started working downtown, so this the gives me something to look forward to during my winter walks coming up. Thank you. ❤ God bless. ❤❤❤
