With 35 years experience I wear sun friendly clothes . White shirts or light color white or sand color shorts. Stuff that I can use bleach on. In perfect your window cleaning abilities to not get your clothes dirty.

No window cleaner is going to wear a black hat in the sun for eight hours

It depends on what state your company is in to what colors you choose for uniform I like white shirts with sam color shorts or even white shorts have a great company name have lots of T-shirts and polo shirts for the owner in for the long term employees

I believe in bringing two or three shirts with you so you can stay fresh during the day cleaning windows you can lay dry towel on your shoulder to keep your shirt from getting stained and white is the coolest Color you can wear your outside guys can get dirty because I don’t generally go in the house whoever’s in the house we’ll stay cleaner on purpose or carry extra shirts when they go out to get Fresh towels they can opt to put on a dry shirt

A good window cleaner cleans 500 windows a day or more if not get out of the business

No successful window cleaner is going to iron his shorts or shirt when he works 90 hours a week

I use white shirts with my logo on it because I use white towels and send color towels because I can wash them all at the same time every day using soap and bleach when and if they get stained I replace them now if you pick colors that can be put in the wash and use bleach then that’s fine too but every day you’re going to do a load of wash this includes towels shirts socks and underwear depending on how big your crew is

Definitely. I have a truck. Still working on getting stuff setup. Probably taking me longer than it should. Step 1: Come up with a solid way to service EVERY account Step 2: Come up with as many ways to market as possible Step 3: Come up with way to find reliable labor Step 4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 over and over until you can hire a manager for the location. Then build another team in another city. Should be far easier than the first…… so much easier said than done lol I’m stuck on step 3. I can easily market door to door and get several sales a day. Just can’t find labor.

I use an dry oblong bucket to hold the washer horizontal when going into homes with really senstive flooring... because a BOAB will drip much more.. so in effect an oblong normal window cleaner bucket is much more convenient to save any headaches. Those round buckets are the best imo for moving around oblong buckets splash all over the place.

Very bad sales tactics no breaking the ice no name dropping etc youre minimizing your sales by being too direct and already having sales resistance the second you say the standard script.
