really enjoyed the video of your holiday on the broads , liked the drone footage and all the still shots particularly the kingfisher. weve hired ruby gem ourselves in the past , nice comfortable boat good to see her still out and about. yes, great video, thanks for sharing.

A very nice show of the nolfork broads , I saw the boat racing many years ago. We go every year for 2 weeks and it's a long way from North Devon. But once you take your boat a stop off at your first sleep spot, put everything away you have brought,, you can sit relax and enjoy. My ashes are to be spread there as it's been my most happy place to be. To me, it's a garden center on the water with a nature reserve thrown it, and a rocking chair to sit and enjoy it. See you in April broads.

Wow, loads of great footage! Catching them mating too, well done. I see loads of kingfishers by the river in Milton Keynes when I'm walking funny thing is nobody ever believes that I saw them lol. Love the channel I've subscribed. Look forward to seeing more for you 👍

Watching because we've been reading the Swallows and Amazons books with our children. Currently we are reading Coot Club, and being from America it is wonderful to be able see Norwich and all the places mentioned in the book, which we'd otherwise just have to imagine. Thanks for the great video!

On our first trip to the Broads in the early '90s, we had a large 10-12 berth cruiser. While crossing Breydon Water in a stiff breeze our engine died and wouldn't restart. We soon became aware that we were drifting sideways, quite fast towards one of the solid channel markers. We had visions of the boat breaking in two if it collided with the marker. Two of us got to the side and used our legs to soften the impact, we still hit quite hard and we sustained no visible damage. Our next problem was, 'would we be left a ground by the receding tide?' Fortunately we managed to restart the engine and get to safety where we phoned for an engineer. (no mobile's in those days) I still shudder to think what would happen if it didn't restart! Thanks for posting, it brought back some wonderful memories.
