I've lived 6 miles from the Codorus Furnace most of my life and I'm turning 52 next month. Sadly never saw her. In fact didn't even know about it being haunted till I bought 2 books on Haunted York County at the York Fair in 2008. After that I was hoping to see her. But haven't yet. Maybe she only comes out at night.

Where did you park? The usual place is near the pond. However, the last time I parked there I waited about 20 minutes before starting my trek but just as I was getting ready to leave the car three Park Police cars came zooming up and parked around me and asked me what I was doing there. I hope you answer. Okay so years ago I used to have dreams about a Long Lane. A pace I've never been. I was probably 15/ 16 years old.. Fast forward 10 years. I hadn't dreamt or even thought about Long Lane.. The one from my youth. The recurring dreams. Anyway, I worked for the gas utility company, it was summer and I was changing out meters. I'm knocking on this door and the neighbor peeks outside and she says to me: I remember you when we were young at Long Lane.. I freaked. The homeowners who I knocked for may or may not have even answered the door. I got in my work van and bolted. I never saw that woman before nor did ever say anything about that dream to anyone... The crazy part about bein on this page is that I was searching for anything Long Lane.. Google was a bust. Another crazy thing is that I'm in Pennsylvania too. Philly area.. Never knew this place existed. Let alone in P.a...

I went here one evening with my friend. We drove through, turned around and drove back through. Got on the highway and we were in stopped traffic. A trucker came behind us and ran into our stopped vehicle doing full speed. He said he didn’t notice us stopped until it was too late. This was directly after leaving the bridge and til this day for some reason I’ve always thought it was somehow connected. This happened a year and some months ago. I wasn’t harmed too much in the wreck. Just major whiplash and in the hospital all that night but this eerie feeling has always stuck with me about that situation that night.
