In a nutshell, David's version says aww f%ck, y'all didn't listen to the song... This is a master level vocal performance.

Excellent reaction from you again. I Just watched how affected you became of the 'Sound of Silence'.. So Floor Jansen participated in 2019 in a Dutch tv-show called Beste Zangers. It is 6 pro singers singing each others songs or favorites. Someone else might have mentioned this but I scrolled through a bunch of comments and haven’t seen it yet: the Gibson Explorer Dany’s playing was a gift from Lzzy Hale, from when The Warning was opening for Halestorm. One, a mustard yellow Manson Oryx, was from Matt Bellamy, and just a few days ago Orianthi gave her a PRS (Dany mostly uses PRS guitars and is a PRS “ambassador,” I think). There might be one more but I honestly can’t remember; another TWA member should fill in the gaps.

All these videos showing apparent emotional millennials reacting to a version of a song they weren't around to listen to. Most are fake reactions for the camera, I've only seen one where the vocal teach was actually involved in the music, she knew. Not like this garbage!

thanks for sharing this wonderful band with you community, friends and family. i was stuck in my classic rock music till i found Free Falling and Survive on Rock Band 4 and i fell down the rabbit hole. the music helped me communicate with my Dr. things i couldn't express myself and found out at 58yo that i was highly functional autistic. TWA have also been a huge help of getting me out of my shell more and doing what i can to help artist i believe in like Freeze The Fall, you knew i was going there already, and a band just starting out and only 7 covers called JINX the Band from Florida who are only kids and this is their YT channel name JINX_band.

Welcome to The Warning Army! Since you have plenty of recommendations already the best one I can give is to just watch it all. Not just the music but also interviews, aftermovies, BTS etc. Their personalities and story is as much a reason these ladies are so beloved as their music. In a few weeks they are playing their next biggest headliners to date in Mexico, can't wait to be part of that crowd in one of those.

"Nostalgia wrapped in something new" is such a perfect phrase! This is one of my favourites (live), and I think Chris' other suggestion _(Dust_ _to_ _Dust/Dull_ _Knives_ from the same concert) would be a strong follow-up. Enjoy!

A little after 3 in the morning here. Something woke me up, and I checked my phone out of habit. No one reaching out, but I noticed this pop up. I clicked on it, still half asleep, and proceeded to watch it. I should have put it off a few more hours until I'm fully awake, but once I started, I couldn't stop. Hopefully I'll be able to get back to sleep. The quick driving beat reminds me of something, but it's not clicking. Maybe it's just the nostalgia feeling you mentioned. It's definitely catchy. I'll have to give it another listen when the blood is flowing at a quicker pace. 💛🤘🤙✌️

Great reaction from you and I'm excited to know that if you keep reacting to more of this power trio's material they will soon be your favorite Rock band too, inevitably!! That's for sure... That's the warning!! Because as you get to know TW better you discover that their music is steeped in various rock styles but invariably it’s pure rock. And I continue to reaffirm my humble but very personal opinion that their structure, their cuts, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, their endings... All of it is masterful. The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all of this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection, with sophistication predominating. There could always be other options, but the ones they choose seem to be the exact ones to create a masterpiece of art. Also impregnating everything with a natural touch of inevitable sensuality that only adds improvements and with the feeling, sensitivity and passion of their blood, race and culture. Each of their pieces can be very different, but always with all the flavor of TW. It’s very clear that these sisters have no limits. They have that gift that only belongs to the geniuses that appear among us every certain period of time. This is the youngest veteran band in the world of rock!! Without forgetting that they are only three, yes, but three authentic geniuses in their specialization. Melodically they are the best, without a doubt, because they are the queens of the hook, the riff, the changes of tonality, the contagious rhythms, the catchy melodies, the sublime voices, the unbeatable harmonies and the ambiguous but deep and powerful messages. And this happens song after song… INCREDIBLE!! All of the above is exponentially believe it or not, in each of their live performances. Individually there is also a lot of material to tell about the band, about this power-trio of sisters who are the new "masters of Rock": The Warning ⚡ DPA (TW) is taking over the global rock banner!
