The Obscure Video Collection
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 9 มิ.ย. 2016
A channel dedicated to uploading old VHS clips from my personal collection, mainly old British and Irish television snippets with dates ranging from c.1989-2008.
I unfortunately do not take content requests, my collection is quite small and I unfortunately don’t have a massive archive.
Check out my other channel where I post obscure music related content:

Friday 9th April 1993
Nice Ad break
Vax advert had quite a ticklish vibe to it. Good Friday that year was 9th April btw.
By this time in 1993, just a couple of months ahead of the full rebranding, we were into a bit of a hybrid situation where visually it was still 'Ulster Television', but verbally very much 'UTV'. Notice there was still use of ITV branding on network-produced trailers, but these would also very largely be reproduced as 'UTV' from the relaunch in June 1993.
Was this recorded in the republic or somewhere else. Just saying as it seems fuzzy somewhat too.
Hello! I don't actually check this account much, but I can confirm that this was recorded NEAR the border with Donegal by a relative of mine, I believe the quality is due to the actual videotape degrading.
Spy Wednesday Maltesers & Radion were among the adverts.
Frank Mitchell on continuity duty, and Gillian Porter with an early effort voicing the 'Busman's Holiday' trail.
Smithwick's Christmas advert what a classic.
