Telling stories through song

Just a quick vid about how my vocal lessons have led to some serious insights in my production process for trance, drum n bass, and more. I'm always learning, and I'd love to keep sharing things with everyone so we can all make more music together! If you've got any trance demos, send them on to our demo page at Ascent Recordings below: ascentrecordings.com/demos
One mistake that made our whole song better

I'm working on an album right now, and on a liquid DnB song I'm putting together with my sister on vocals we ran into an accident that changed the course of the song...for the better. Fun Tricks from Synertia - Coming Back To Me | Melodic Techno | Melodic House Production

I wanted to take some time to break down some really cool discoveries we made when putting together the production for Coming Back To Me, out now on Ascent! This was a great way to fuse and abuse some of the capabilities of both the Moog Sub37 and the Waves OVOX plugin in ways that they weren't even designed to operate! Check out the tune, Coming Back To Me, here: ascentrecordings.com/comingbac...

I'm so stoked to be back on one of my favorite labels with this emotional track. Hope you dig!

A quick way to use Logic Pro X's new-ish QuickSampler to make loops from other genres into compelling percussion grooves. Cheers, glad you enjoyed it! 🥳
good
Thank you!
Wow that’s so cool bro. You should totally tell this story at party’s. You’ll pull all the bitches and be the coolest person alive ! Good job man! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Synertia!
Interesting. Ain’t that pitch in the Sampler meant to addapt the key of the copied sample to the key of the track of the project?
Defo is a common way to use it. If we always used things how they’re meant to tho life would be boring as heck =P
