Thanks! I just bought an anachronistic T-rex 450 with a gyro that has no manual, and everything these days is flybarless, so finding the manual for my new ancient gyro was impossible. You helped me understand the settings!
super backwards
Dear <SpartanIIMark6>, I am writing to inquire about your permission to use your video clip. This is <Talkpawon 25hrs>, the Korean TV show which is broadcasted on JTBC (Korean TV channel). With your permission, I'd like to use your video clip for introducing the Libe Slope as the landmark of the Cornell. It will be broadcasted at 9PM on 19 December 2022. Thank you for your kind attention and look forward to hearing from you.
hledam navod ne na sestaveni, ale ke kompletni instalaci a uspesnemu spusteni, repo nefunguje a autor nekomunikuje.
Wow
What is the command of 00:23 ? I think cant find 4 phase gait command. My servos are mg966r, maybe this could work. 8 phase gait is slow for my servos.
Oh you didnt even respond to Raspberry, I think you will not respond to this also.
I've just started working on a Spot Micro. I am watching all the videos of them walking and it seems that legs sticking to the floor is an issue. The design uses rigid PLA plastic and position-controlled servos. I think "compliance" would help. The legs might need "spring" so that weight is distributed evenly. Does this make sense? My plan is to add ground contact pressure sensors under the TPU "tires". Maybe even IMUs one each leg for feedback.
Great stuff! Did you just leave your camera and went to sleep? The closest shelter is still like 30mns away lol
I like it
is it possible to make it on a RPi zero ? just simple walking command
Hi,thx to code. You can help me, if used only 8 servo in my robot pls?
Hello can you please help me in solving this issue ResourceNotFound: spot_micro_motion_cmd #62 When i am trying to launch with rolaunch github.com/mike4192/spotMicro/issues/62
Hi, do you have any resources for your assembly (fritzring image or video)? Can't seem to find anything of the sort in your git repo.
Something tells me you hate your downstairs neighbor
Hi mike, I just use Arduino mega and expansion board to build this robot, could you share the code for Arduino mega?thanks in advance, love your project too much
It cant be done my friend. There is no way. First you need to know what he is using. Please look what is ROS and look at your request again.
amazing work, i am also working on quadruped robot project. I will be glad if you check my work too. Regards.
Hi Mike. Great work, but missing a file in spotMicro-master\spot_micro_motion_cmd\libs\spot_micro_kinematics_cpp :( CMake.txt is not there
Just made a simulation video . You can find here: @
Wow, great!!!!!
I've been introduced to this project through the FreeCAD community, and I absolutely love it!
tks so much~~~
Hi. Can the rpi 4 work with this as well ?
A raspberry pi 4 should work, but you will probably need to compile ROS Kinetic from source to get it working on a RPI4 (or find someone who has already done this and use their binaries/installation/rpi image)
I have one question. Did you modify the STL 3D printed legs to fix your servos? Because the original file STL just fix the MG996r servos
same quetion
I did not modify the legs. I used KDY's leg parts intended for the cls6336hv servos, and those fit my PDI-hv5523mg servos perfectly fine.
I thought ass is face and face is ass till it started moving..
best thing I have seen in a while!
When are you launching the kickstarter so I can purchase a kit?
Great!
What is the name of the laptop model, and what is the name of the operating system you used?
Laptop is a XPS13, running Ubuntu Linux 16.04 as a dual boot. Its a great laptop and a great linux machine too!
Wowwwww
Awesome design and execution
Fantasic! Just imagine how stupid Boston Dynamics must feel, when they see this. They probably have spent a multi-million dollar budget for their spot.
That extra million is for the extreme precision, control, and stability required for these kinds of robots. Their investment will be seen after a few years
@@manojguha2046 Sure, but still... this is fantastic work running on a $40 computer.
@@raphi72 Yeah, sure. It is fantastic for a DIY project. It gives lot of hopes for Hobbyists to try out something like this impressive.
MKBHD shud give a review about this mini spot
SO Cool! dog that wont chew up your shoes :) hehehe
You rock, this is amazing.
Impresive, it is opensource?
Impressive! This looks like a pretty complex project but the end result is pretty damn sweet. ,
Awesome!
We like this, Mike! It should be up on the Raspberry Pi blog this week :-D
Stanford Pupper, another Quadruped Project, also runs on Raspberry Pi, is it possible to be up on the Raspberry Pi blog? ^_^
Nice! Looks like we are big funs of the same robot and similar technologies :) I also uses ROS in my Spot and currently adding vision based on ArUco markers.
Awesome
awesome work
What gyro sensor dose it have?
Wow.I really want to build it myself. But I'm not very strong in programming.
what simulation are you using
very awsome project i want to make this project
Your 8 phase gait has a period where all legs are staying on the ground for a bit. You could probably remove that and get better speed.
The purpose of the period where all four legs are on the ground is to give time for the body to shift for better balance, so the CG is away from the next leg that will lift. During that period, the legs are still moving in coordination to achieve the current rate commands.
Awesome 👏
Excellent work!
Great work!
did you use the tower pro mg996r? And if yes was it the 180 or the 360 degrees ones
I first tried with a set of mg996r servos, however they did not have sufficient torque or holding capability for the robot, and the robot would shake all over simply standing. I switched to higher performance servos.
@@SpartanIIMark6 Whats the name of the higher performance servo?
