Costa Rica Travel vlog (12 days) Pura Vida!
Our tips for visiting Costa Rica
1. The best time to visit Costa Rica is between December and April, its' dry season. Also, if you want to visit Tortuguero national park and to see the turtles laying their eggs, you should go between July and October.
Naturally, each season has its own beauty as well as advantages and disadvantages.
2. We had a tour through Airbnb to get to know one of the eight Indigenous People groups in Costa Rica- Bribri. We had a great experience with Eliseo, got to know more about the Bribri history, culture, ancient activities such
as preparation of cacao as a sacred drink, natural medicine plants. The link to Airbnb experience: www.airbnb.com/experiences/3908000?_set_bev_on_new_domain=1722884237_EAYTM0YmI3YjlkYT&locale=en
3. Costa Rica is known worldwide for coffee production. And this is definitely something not to miss when visiting Costa Rica. We have visited North Fields Coffee near La Fortuna and Hacienda Alsacia, which is a Starbucks coffee
farm since 2013. Also, few tips to enjoy coffee experience in your daily life: buy the whole coffee beans and grind them yourself, buy the coffee beans in specialty shops, and avoid shiny black oily beans (they are overroasted).
4. Tortuguero national park. As mentioned earlier, if you want to see the turtles laying their eggs, you need to come between July and October. Besides the turtles, the park is full of other animals. Its remote location and untouched
flora and fauna make it a unique location to visit and experience. We would say it is even enough for overnight stay, go for a night jungle tour in the evening, and in the early morning, go for a boat or kayak tour. In the late evening and early
morning, the animals are the most active. Otherwise, it becomes really hot during the day there and you cant do much then. Also, the seacoast is not good for swimming because of dangerous underwater currents and possible sharks
appearance.
5. Costa Rica is a great place for surfing, both on Pacific and Caribbean side. On Caribbean side, you can go to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, and have surfing classes if you are beginner. Or go enjoy the waves on your own. On the
Pacific side, Santa Teresa is a great place. The waters are nice and warm, and the atmosphere of the town is great. :)

I‘m a citizen of Nara. 🇯🇵 Thank you for visiting Nara. 🦌🥰 By the way, aerial photography with a drone in Japan often requires permission from local governments or facility managers, so it is not completely free to take drone photography. Advance research is required. I did a little research and found out that the river administrator has prohibited flying drones over the Uji River in Kyoto.🍀
Hi, thank you for your comment. We were aware of the permission required to fly a drone. Additionally, our drone is a mini drone. However, we were not aware that it is prohibited to fly over the Uji river, as there is also no information in English in Google. May I ask you if you could share the source? It would be greatly appreciated and will be helpful for other travelers. Thank you :)
@@tastysteps2528さん Hi, thank you for your reply. ☺️ In Japan, rivers themselves are recognized as public places, but when it comes to the skies above them, it is important to be aware that in the unlikely event that a flying drone loses control and falls, injuring others. Therefore, I think it is a reasonable decision for river administrators to ban flights. The document I am attaching is unfortunately only in Japanese, but it is a homepage of a private law firm that provides legal application procedures to river administrators for people who want to fly drones over rivers. URL. There is a sentence in it that mentions the ban on drone flights in Ujigawa, so please refer to it. Please note that on TH-cam, if you attach a URL other than a video, it may be deleted, so I will try to attach it in a separate comment. If the URL does not display properly, we will also attach the search word in Japanese kanji. (漢字) Please note that I have no conflict of interest with that law firm.🍀 ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー やあ、御返事下さってありがとうございます。 🍀
@@tastysteps2528さん why? Following yesterday's text comment, the second comment I posted that included a search word in Japanese characters related to Ujigawa has disappeared, but did it get across to you properly? 🤔 If you do not remember receiving it, please request me to send it again. 👍 It's really bothering me that TH-cam these days deletes everything.😓🍀 ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー なぜ? 😓🍀
