Alzheimer’s Is Now Optional - Here’s Why
In this eye-opening presentation, Dr. Dale Bredesen, an internationally recognized expert in the mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, walks through the research on Alzheimer's and explains why, if you start early, the disease is now preventable and cognitive decline is even reversible.
This video is geared toward dental professionals and examines the oral connection to brain health. However, anyone can watch it to learn about the molecular processes underlying disease and the steps they can take to stop the process and balance their brain health.
Discover how a personalized, precision medicine approach, focusing on root causes like the oral microbiome, toxins (including mercury), airway health, and more, is achieving unprecedented success in preventing and even reversing cognitive decline. Learn about:
- The critical role of dentists in addressing the oral-systemic connection to Alzheimer's.
- Why traditional pharmaceutical approaches often fall short and how a holistic strategy targeting multiple factors is essential.
- The science behind Alzheimer's, including the APP switch and how it's influenced by various factors.
- Remarkable results from clinical trials showing sustained improvement in cognitive function, brain volume, and overall health.
- Real-life stories of individuals who have defied the odds and regained their cognitive abilities.
- Dr. Bredesen emphasizes the importance of early prevention and intervention and how a collaborative approach between physicians and dentists is crucial for achieving optimal outcomes. --- He also addresses the staggering statistics of Alzheimer's and the urgent need to shift our understanding and treatment of this devastating disease.
Don't miss this groundbreaking presentation, which offers a new paradigm of hope for Alzheimer's prevention and reversal. Learn how you can take proactive steps to protect your cognitive health and join this transformative healthcare movement.

This is a very different narrative from the perspective of dementia as type III diabetes, driven by metabolic dysfunction due to carbohydrate based diet and sugar. I’m reminded of the study comparing Alzheimer’s rates in African-Americans in Detroit to their genetic relatives in Nigeria eating a very different diet. Same genetic heritage, but very different metabolic health, with much lower rates of Alzheimer’s in Nigerians with the same genetic so-called predisposition. To me that sounds more of like a functional medicine approach then the approach described in this presentation, which sounds very allopathic. I have always heard great things about Dr. Bredeson in the functional medicine space, so I don’t understand why there seems to be this disconnect between these two narratives.

The best oral health treatment I've found is nightly flossing, followed by application of a paste made from unpasteurized honey and bee propolis. The honey/ propolis mix is just rubbed on with your finger and left overnight. Its enzymes kill all the bad bacteria in your mouth; the results are actually amazing. Mix about a thumbnail sized amount of honey and about 100 mg of bee propolis until a deep brown consistency is obtained.

lots of great suggestions but zinc supp's trigger the production of metallothionein, which binds up copper and shuts down the body’s ability to make ceruloplasmin in the liver and prevents its ferroxidase enzyme function which is vital for managing iron...taking zinc essentially depletes the very copper that the body needs to manage iron and reduce the stress that initiated the cycle of dysfunction...iron and zinc share an absorption pathway, so zinc will be low when excess unbound iron is high and that's what needs repair

Ketones mitigating AZD-βHB insolubilizes misfolded oligomeric proteins including amyloid-β, rendering them non-prionic. It also chaperones their degradation and removal. This has been demonstrated in bench-top chemistry as well as in C. elegans and murine models and Macaque brain tissue. See β-hydroxybutyrate is a metabolic regulator of proteostasis in the aged and Alzheimer disease brain . I have been following their work for a couple of years (as you have) and continue to take 25-50 ml of C8 MCT oil spread out through the day and even in the middle of the night if I wake.
