Hello great video very Interesting. Can I ask I run a small 5Hp and 3Hp VFD on a Mill and Lathe at 240V. Would I need these cables from VFD to motor and would it be wise to fit the earthing rings to the motor shafts. Is this overkill on a small appliance like these thank you Terry

If it's on the backplane then add \Backplane\2 or whatever slot the PLC is on the backplane

Hi, I appreciated the video. Thank you for sharing it. I have one question though. What happen when I have an active 2-wire instruments that from field transmits the 4..20mA signal? I have to connect to different terminals of the barrier, right? and the parameters to be controlled should be reversed, right? Because I believe in this case, the power comes from the instrument in field and is the V,I, and P at the barrier that should withstand the maximum V,I, and P coming from the instrument in field. Does this make sense? and what about the verification of the capacitance and inductance of the loop? Thank you in advance for your kind answer

I completed watching the video and do have access to use Rockwell Software Tool Kit. But I have the most basic of question and that is how do you even launch PlantPax? Is it with a version of Studio 5k beyond v32 or it PlantPax a standalone software? It would also seem there to be some connection to FactoryTalk View which I also use myself to build HMI application, so does FactoryTalk View have capability to run a PlantPax built application? A few questions I’d like answers to. Great presentation though.

Is there any port limitation with PRP enabled switches??..example - with a stratix 5200/5400 eight port switch, can all the eight ports be utilized for connecting to let's say seven different incoming PRP frame from different hardware and one outgoing PRP frame to a EN2TP and vice versa??

With the architecture @31:10, can the DLR's be on a different Vlan and with inter vlan routing enabled(layer 3 switch), route data to a controller/ethernet bridge card which might be on a different dlr ring...??
