In this video, Awais Malik opines on a significant yet largely ignored issue in the Education system of Pakistan. Assessments are the primary tool used to measure learning in an individual, based on which the individual is either sent to the next grade or awarded a degree which makes them eligible for a job. However, little to no attention is given to the large amount of unnecessary barriers in the conventional assessment practices in Pakistan. In this video, Awais Malik dissects the current assessment system, outlines the harms of it, and suggests the way foward to make learning more holistic and engaging for students.
