Good question! It's been a while so I had to rewatch the video! The bass melody is played with the Ornament : I sent several CV-output of the Ornament to one of the Pulsar's attenuator. If the cell is in "+ mode" the ramp goes up and if it's in "- mode" it goes down. By cumulating these CVs it creates that up & down movement.

Je dirais que tout dépend de votre utilisation. Pour l'instant j'ai surtout exploité les possibilités rythmiques et de modulation, qui sont surement plus intuitives et efficace avec le Pulsar23 ou du modulaire. En soi avec le Lyra il n'ajoute pas de fonctionnalités (on a simplement 8 triggers pour les notes), mais il m'a amené à l'utiliser différemment. J'utilisais surtout le lyra en mode longues notes pour le drone et là j'essaie de faire des patterns avec des notes courtes qui suivent les rythmiques folles du Pulsar. Je continue de travailler le workflow sur ce point et sur l'intégration pas évidente avec un set-up sur Ableton.

Thanks a lot Fello)))w friend ! Since it's a very specific instruments you should sure think twice before buying, but personally it's an almost therapic feeling when I dive into the sound. It's build like a tank and they sold quite a lot so if you're really interested maybe check the secondhand market.

Shameless self plug, if you’re at all interested in my noise you can check it out at MisterBun.Bandcamp.com I create noise-scapes and work with cassette/radio based samples, frequently religious in nature. I’m not religious personally, I just find it interesting psychology. Makes for great sampling. You could call some of it plunderphonic but I tend to call it experimental/noise generally speaking.
