@@scimitar_fpv I know what you mean, I have many quads sitting around, ready to go, minus a VTX lol. It's just the easiest way to be economical about it all, especially when running DJI. 👍👍

Unfortunately I don't own any 2s batteries and wasn't planning on flying 2s. Will be experimenting on 850mah 4s batteries with the new motor, and reducing the prop size to 4". If you check my GPS speed, I was only reaching approx 30-50mph which is manageable. Yes the stock motor was very underpowered in my opinion and was difficult to launch, however the T-Motor upgrade is great!

I can see the video came up pretty shaky. Was it because of high wind or the speed of the plane?

​@@wild_boundthe wind was pretty temperamental that day, plus I hadn't tuned it after the motor upgrade. Next flight I'll be concentrating on tuning and trimming, maybe some throttle limiting perhaps. Could have been the peanut action camera disturbing the airflow also 🤔

I run 2S li-ion on my drift with the matek f405, standard motor, caddx vista, crossfire& gps. Amazing little flyer and gets over 45 mins flight with mixed flying.I use a micro 12v power converter for the vista running from the balance lead to ensure it gets the voltage it needs - power to the motor is cut when voltage drops below 6v

I had to replace the standoffs with longer ones, then 3d print the mount for the O3 camera. It won't fit as standard unfortunately, unless they've changed the frame since then.

The nano is the smaller version of this one. Don't think there is a great deal of difference though, however it flies great and is very stable even with an action cam

@@scimitar_fpv thanks! Do you fly until 3.5 Volts per cell for the 5+ minutes? And which props do you use?

@@philihc yeah, pretty much come back around 13.8v. So 3.5v per cell is about right. I use Gemfan 3520's with this build. The video is over two flights, definitely not a 5+ minute flight time!

Was definitely VTX loss near the power line. Didn't have the FCC hack at this point so was only flying with 25mw and I was around 150m away.

Maybe. This was one of my first FPV flights a couple of years ago and did not know any better. I don't risk it at all now! 😎
