I'm now officially tired of Witnessing "SOME" Nigerians and South Africans exchanging unkind words towards each other. The operative word here is "SOME". Facebook, Twitter, TH-cam and Instagram, it's too much now. I hope Nigeria knows and acknowledges that all these unkind words that have been said by some South Africans, are not a representation of all our sentiments about fellow Africans and Nigerians. Some of us do not Harbour such egregious xenophobic mentalities. I couldn't even support Mia and Chichi both off and online because people dragged me. The situation could have been handled differently. But the damage has been done. I'm not speaking from a point of fear or anything but from understanding. You see, I have ancestral roots from Botswana on my maternal great grandmother's side. My best friend in Northern Cape has ancestral lineage from Namibia. My aunt is married to someone from Zambia since 1996. I know what it is like to have someone I consider as my uncle and family being called and addressed with xenophobic slurs. My cousins have received attention all their lives for having a Zambian surname. I've said enough. Anyway congratulations to Chichi. You've done Africa very proud.
