@@seansean7521 Hey, I wanted to let you know this! I've been trying it some more and could get Arcade mode apparently working (didn't test much) and Story mode (partially) working. So I think I will be figuring things out for a little and then upload a second tutorial with the news. I couldn't get Ghost mode to work, but since I got Arcade and Story, it should only be a matter of patience now. I just didn't give it much time yet. Hope you like the update, stay tuned 🙂

@@seansean7521 Although Ghost mode may be an impossible given that Azazel and Nancy cannot have any ranks by game's design, and Ghost mode DEPENDS on your character's rank to decide the opponents. So it might be the only mode that cannot be done without modding the game data (wild guess, but I think I have a point). Internally, they seem to be rankless characters (as opposed to "eternal Beginners" that are only stuck because they can't be selected) -- But at the same time, I'm surprised by how well the game handled them on Story mode, as in, it would seem that there's no benefit on making any effort by the developers for them to work instead of just fail and crash, but I found out some interesting things along the way. So, applying the same logic, it's possible that the game just assumes "Beginner" rank even if they have none and still works. Guess I'll eventually find out. In any case, the point of Ghost mode (fighting opponents your same strength) won't work, so it would be a partial success.

When you say my mod 3.1, what do you mean? The FFX-2 remastered?

Yes, though sadly the Death spell has a 80% accuracy. The Death-inflicting items are much the same. Without mods or hacks, only a Deathstrike weapon or Anima's Pain have a 100% chance on an enemy with 0 resistance (For the player, enemies are a whole topic of its own)

The weapon, as long as the enemy doesn't evade the hit. Pain cannot be evaded, but the enemy may survive if their Death resistance isn't 0. That is, for Yuna, Seymour and Belgemine. Dark Anima ignores immunity as we all know.

@@monotonecanadian6825 It's emulated (obviously PS2 is 480i not 1440p) but you can do this on a legit PS2 with a modified save file (you need the Spanish release too). Remember PS2 can be hacked but this doesn't even need hacks just a memory card with a FFXED edited save.

@@Todo-1996 In Steam version, you can use my mod to bypass input and choose how many hits you want up to 16 (you can also use programs to simulate pressing the left and right arrow keys but it's nearly impossible to time it right to get 16 hits)

Most I can get is 11 on a basic spell. If I spin any faster I actually get less, like 8.

The PC version doesn't officially have soft reset, which means you have to close the game or trigger a game over to load another save, but forcing a game over outside of battles can't always be done, it's tricky.

@@FaulhawkerBlvd PS2 emulation on Android is a thing? Guess the PS2 was not that invincible after all. We got "current" gen emulators (Switch) that run better that the official thing, although that's another story. PS3 emu has been stuck for ages, Gran Turismo 5 barely boots. Since the PS5 is so dead hope GT7 comes on PC. But we're here for FF. XII is a thing on Switch, so you can emulate it too... If your almighty Android can handle the barely-above-PS2 Switch graphics.

Heyy bro ，I have encountered a bug. I used the edit bulk loot items option and changed all of the current loot items quantity to 98. But after I done that，any new loot items that I pick up，does not appear in the inventory ，as If I never picked them up，the old ones that I edited to 98 copies are still there though.

The great majority of bosses are immune to eject, and ones who aren't you can't have Shooting Star and no other legitimate means to inflict eject for the player (That Thrust Kick messed up description lol)

Your FF12 modding "friends" don't tell you, so now you come back to me again? I will answer, but now you see why I am not that useless and disposable after all? ... Gilgamesh only has one model, I don't know what trickery the game internally uses to attach a different weapon model beyond 2 slots ("Weapon" slot and "Off-hand" slot), but I guess this is hardcoded into his battle since no other enemy has more than 2 weapons at the same time (or am I forgetting someone else? FF12 isn't my spoiled child, FF10 is)

@@JM-sg7bg It's not working hard, at the contrary, it wouldn't make sense to make a feature in a game that will only be ever used in one specific event. It makes more sense for the developers to make the event change the weapon directly, since it will never happen again. It is like how the AI/script of FFX enemies have some stuff in it that's not a feature by itself, like enemies that change phase or that change a stat mid-battle, or to temporarily enable or disable some player commands. In FFXII the latter is a mechanic in the game itself (special fields that block Attack, Item, Magick, Technicks...), but in FFX this is part of enemy code (during this battle or part of this battle, "the enemy" tells the game to block commands for selection to the player - it's a workaround rather than a proper implementation)

@@JM-sg7bg Editing enemy weapons attack power is perfectly possible, but it will have the side effect that when enemies have them equipped, the power of their attacks will be changed accordingly. To achieve such a change, you need either Lua Loader and a Lua script that changes it in real time, or changing it via Cheat Engine, however, Cheat Engine will only last until the game is closed and reset afterwards.

@@JM-sg7bg Any weapon in the whole game. The attack power is just a number in the game's files and in memory. Nothing prevents you from changing those numbers if you wanted to, just have to find them and use Lua script or Cheat Engine.

@@JM-sg7bg I understand you want for me to provide you with something "ready to use" for you, not give you a technical answer, however, on that part, my knowledge about FF12 is much more limited than FF10 which I have been modding/hacking since before the release of the remaster on PS3. What I can say, is that while on the outside it may look really complicated and "scary", in the inside if you have enough interest you can eventually figure it out, or in FF12, unlike FF10, you don't have to do it all by yourself, because there are people who know the game, make mods for it, and don't keep it to themselves. This is a disadvantage I've always had in my journey with FF10, but it has never stopped me and here I am with all I have done and all I can still do there now. And not that I have "friends" that help me with FF12 either, but some things are publicly available so that helps. In FF10, or FF8, if you want to make mods it's just yourself. People only *somewhat* care to use mods that are already complete, not in creating them or helping.

Let's suppose that you want to use any key or combination of keys to make Fran Kjrn and to make Basch Gilgamesh. Go to "Character Editor: Main (with Reks)" --> "Fran" --> "Name(Menu&Target)". Left click it and press Control + H, or right click it and select "Set/Change hotkeys" in the dropdown menu. Press on "Create hotkey", press the key or combination of keys that you want to use, for example Shift + T. On the list below the key selection, choose "Set value to:". Don't select "Restore to original on release". Below that option, enter the Name value for Kjrn, 4222, optionally select an activate sound, click on Apply and finally click on OK. To find out what the correct value for "Name(Menu&Target)" is, try to change it and look in the list. This time it is "4222: Kjrn" in the list, so this is the correct value, 4222. Then, add a hotkey to Fran's "Model/Appearance" in the same way, using the same key (for example, Shift + T), but this time, in value choose the Model value for Kjrn, 006E0096. To find out what the correct value for "Model/Appearance" is, try to change it and look in the list. This time it is "006E0096 : Kjrn", so this is the correct value, 006E0096. Now, go to Basch, go to "Name(Menu&Target)", give it a hotkey for Shift + T with the value 4086 (from "4086 : Gilgamesh" in the list), and go to Basch "Model/Appearance", and add a hotkey for Shift + T with the value 006E0029 (from "006E0029: Gilgamesh" in the list). Now if you want to make sure they don't T-pose, give them a hotkey in "Attack Power (≤ 255)" for Shift + T, with whatever value you want them to have, and give them a hotkey to "Weapon (sets stance)" for Shift + T with a weapon of type Unarmed or Bow for Kjrn and a weapon of type Sword 1H for Gilgamesh. To find the weapon values, try to change the weapon and find the value you want, for example "11EC : Buster Replica (Gilgamesh's Weapon) [SWORD 1H, POWER: 30, ON HIT: SLOW]", so if you want Buster Replica when you press Shift + T, write 11EC as the value. After you are done, save your .CT file (or you will lose your new hotkeys), and now when you attach CE to FFXII and press Shift + T, it will change Fran to Kjrn and give her the attack power you wanted and a bow you wanted, and for Basch it will change him to Gilgamesh and give him the attack power you wanted and Buster Replica (11EC). You can look at already existing hotkeys to get a better idea of it! Finally, to delete a hotkey, right click the hotkey in the list of hotkeys, the only option is "Delete", click it and then click OK, done, the hotkey is deleted! That's how you do it.

@@HitokageWorshipper wow thank you I’ll give it a try. It will help having those hotkeys, because changing Van to Gilgamesh for instance causes issues (can’t open doors in towns). Also, I noticed sheathe and unsheathe takes more time on characters like Gilgamesh, so it creates some stress during gameplay, there’s no way to change that right? Anyways thanks again for the great work, you made me reinstall the game :)

@@JM-sg7bg Use a different party leader in town (if you have mods that use party leader in town instead of Vaan). About sheathe delay, there was a mod somewhere (I don't know if it still works with the current version of manifesto), that allows making all characters permanently in fight status (so they NEVER unsheathe in battle areas, but they are still normal in towns), I haven't used that mod for some time and I would have to check, or to see if I still have it or it still exists.

@@JM-sg7bg Manifesto requires FFXII external file loader, make sure to have that first, External File Loader, then have manifesto, then try to use enemy attacks from items menu to check if it's working.

Dang I forgot, if you see manifiesto requirements it says External File Loader AND Lua Loader, both are from the same author but separate modpages, and I do have them installed (I didn't remember). So make sure to have External File Loader, Lua Loader and manifiesto, all 3 installed in Vortex for FF12. If all is correct, you should have: in the folder with FFXII_TZA.VBF 29 GB file (game data), in this same folder a folder that has name "Mods". Inside "x64" folder, where FFXII_TZA.exe is, you should have, "dinput8.dll" file, "ff12-trampoline.dll" file, "simpleLog.dll" file, "hook.ini" file, "Modules" folder and "Scripts" folder. In Modules folder, you should have "ff12-file-loader.dll" file, "ff12-lua-loader.dll" file, "Config" folder. Is this what it looks like on your PC?

@@adhie060611 If you don't mind using mods, you can use mine that allows, among many other things, to control Yojimbo and Magus Sisters directly th-cam.com/video/aIuHyMsUqt0/w-d-xo.html and if you prefer to play vanilla, you can either use my mod just to raise Yojimbo compatibility to maximum, or follow my other advice. My other advice is to always Grand Summon Yojimbo even if his bar was already full, this will increase his chance to use Zanmato a lot. You should also raise his compatibility value even if you do it legitimately, to do it without mods the easiest way is to go to Besaid island, on there fight random enemies always using Yojimbo, and always pay him 2 gil, this way he will not die and never dismiss him as that also lowers the compatibility. Then, after you paid him 2 gil, in worst case scenario, 255 times, his compatibility will be maxed which gives him, along with the Grand Summoning, the highest chance to use Zanmato. That's the worst case scenario, you can max it without paying him 255 times. Never pay him 1 or 0 gil though, that will also reduce the compatibility! If you don't play on PC you can't use my mod, so this is your only option then. Also, the chance to use Zanmato doesn't increase with every single gil, there are ranges, each of which are double the amount of the previous range, this means that if you pay him max gil (the maximum amount you can have in the game), his chance to use Zanmato will only be a little higher than if you pay him 50% of max gil, which saves you the other 50%. In other words, you should rather retry multiple times spending less gil and reload your save file, than spend an absurdly high amount of gil, because the difference will probably not be worth it. This means if you pay him 2 gil or 200 gil it actually makes a lot of difference, but if you pay 200,000 or 20,000,000 (also 100x the amount) it's not that different.

@@adhie060611 Against enemies with Zanmato resistance 1, 2 or 3, paying 1024 gil with full OD and no free attack gives you a chance of Zanmato, depending on your compatibility value in your save file, between 50% and 81%, in this same situation paying 16384 gil gives you a chance between 70%, and guaranteed for maximum compatibility (lowest amount of gil that guarantees it - but enemy must have Zanmato resistance level 1, 2 or 3). For resistance 4, 5 and 6 with full OD and no free attack, if you pay 1024 gil you have between 28% and 43% chance, if you pay 16384 you have between 38% and 53% chance, however, this is only with the full OD, the second time the % will be lower. Paying Yojimbo 2 gil has a chance of 6% to 37% for level 1-2-3, and a chance of 6% to 21% for level 4-5-6, always full OD no free attack. So paying over 16384 is never really worth it if you have full OD and no free attack, it is just wasting your gil, better try again. If you battle enemies with resistance 1, 2 or 3 with empty OD and pay 1024 gil and Yojimbo never ever uses Daigoro or Kozuka (he always uses Wakizashi or Zanmato), this means your Yojimbo has compatibility 250 or higher (maximum is 255)
