The highest unlocked floor in those apartment elevators-and, by extension, the highest public carpark floor-is level 2. I’m assuming the lack of call buttons is because they don’t want members of the public to be able to cheese their way into these elevators, so removed the option to call the lifts from the floor entirely. This is also the case on level 1. I do find it puzzling how you can still go up to level 7 in the 5400 AP despite levels 3-7 all providing no exit into the carpark… Although I presume the office workers who have designated parking spots in that carpark will also have their own RFIDs to access the area.

LIFTS: Schindler 5400AP: Works but the call button on level 1 doesn’t have lighting. 1st Schindler M-Series: Works but the indicator has weird floor numbering. 1960’s OTIS: Works but the ground floor indicator and button being replaced sadly. OTIS (mod. OTIS): Works with 2 doors so isn’t a cool lift? Schindler Travelators and Escalators: Works 2nd M-Series from Schindler: Works but boring floor numbering. Schindler E-Type Panoramic: Works 3rd M-Series: Works but boring floor numbering either. 2013 3300 MRL: Works

Not a replacement. Just a mod. Cab is still the same from when original. I think the door tracks are still there

It's a pretty good mod, the mod was likely done for Braille compliance

Dewhurst *US96-EN!* What a rare treat! I do agree, though - the floor numbering is a bit odd here 😅 When I came here at the beginning of this year, the highest unlocked floor was 18. Either changes in tenants or maybe even a difference in lift cars (I got the rightmost one), perhaps?

I got my new Miele washing machine installed yesterday 😊 I read the manual carefully but your video helped me to understand better how to program it , thank you !

These Lifts have since been modernized again by Schindler with White Linea, the COP's still have Black Everbright

This is the only case of Black Everbright glowing White in NZ

Those beeps go really good with KDS 300-AUS retrofitted into a KDS 330 Call station

Those Otis Gen2 ReGen's at ANZ on Colombo Street have unusual call stations since the indicators are above the lifts rather than on the call stations, good idea not to go to Level 3 because of ANZ since they have strict no photography policies, when I go there I'll only go to Level 1, cool video mate

The cool thing about the lifts at The Terrace is that you can call cancel most of the lifts by double tapping the floor button you pressed earlier, handy if you want to avoid reception

This was the first instance of KDS 330 found in NZ… I think, *ever!* And it comes with the KMQC (4th-gen AU) voice, which is nice! Although I find it funny that the first instance of KMQC found wouldn’t be until Vic Uni’s Student Union Building about a year after this one was first sighted 😆😅

It is now September 2023. As of now, post-refurbishments, the service elevators actually open out into the toilets corridor of the Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq arcade on Willis Lane, so I went and had a look. The two original System 260s are supposedly switched off (looking at your video, they might have been for years)… but the modded elevator is rideable and can be called from Willis Lane level (-1). However, it is one-way only, as the only unlocked floor is 0. I’m glad we have your video of the original lifts to refer back to - the OTIS System 260 model is *ultra-rare* in NZ!

I find the fixtures and lifts incredible in New Zealand! Lots of different Schindler’s that I never knew existed until now! Awesome tour!
